I wish I could leave a lower than one star rating. I had been losing weight rapidly (30+ lbs in three months) and unintentionally. This “doctor” did an upper scope and took a few biopsies, which all came back okay. He told me to make a follow up appointment in three months; I told him that at the rate I was going, my husband and I both feared I’d be dead in three months. He called me in a prescription for Bentyl to take with meals, in spite of the fact that I told him I hadn’t been able to keep down a meal for months. I went back to my PCP who gave me a referral to UK’s GI dept. I saw a NURSE PRACTITIONER there who was willing to dig just a little deeper: she ordered an MRI and a Gastric Emptying Scan, and within a few days of those tests I had a diagnosis of gastroparisis. In a few days, I’ll meet with her again to discuss treatment. Dr. Anusionwu had absolutely zero interest in helping to find the root cause of my issue; he treated me like I was a car on an assembly line or a gnat buzzing around his head. I would not let him treat my dog!

seen Dr for crohns flare up,was told my meds may need to be stronger,was sent for a ct scan wich showed thickening of the small bowel. was to see dr again in 2 months but was suffering in pain so i called numerous times to get some kind of plan for new meds,was told dr was unavailable that week,was given something to help for a week,but still in pain and had to call numerous times.Then received a call saying dr needed to change my appointment,pushing me 3 more weeks until i could see dr. Unacceptable.I had to find a new dr.
