Del Burchell's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Doctor Burchell for over 25 years, he has always treated me with kindness and respect and I will miss him dearly. I hope he has a wonderful time with the next chapter of his life. Thank you for everything you are the best! Mary Cox

I can not recommend this doctor. I asked him to make note of a diagnosis he stated. Only to protect myself and he literally threatened me in front of my 4 year old daughter. He stood up and pointed his finger in my face stating I had made a legitimate threat towards him in the most unsettling tone. When all I wanted was to make record of something he had personally stated. At the end of the visit, he stated he made his notes at the end of the day and would not put it on record at that time. He also stated in front of his staff "he never wanted to see me in his office again". I contest I was courteous, kind, and treated him with respect, that visit and every visit prior. Only to be treated with utter disregard and my continued illness to be left undiagnosed after numerous visits to him. Including a surgery where he made the recommendations. And the issue was never formally diagnosed or treated. Exceptionally unhappy with dr. Del Burchell.

Lazy. Doesn't listen to concerns. Staff doesn't call back. Staff lost my paperwork

Dr. Burchell is very compassionate. Listens closely. Takes time with his patients. Knows the community. Wise with years of experience. Trustworthy.

I went to this Dr to be given steroids and antibiotics month after month with only temporary relief. I got worse and worse as month went on. finally went to homeopathic which I found cause of problem which was candida. 2.5 months after spending 1.5yrs with troubleshooting with this DR. I got relief. When I took all the research and proof to the DR he argued for 20 minutes with me before he even came to reasonable agreement. Dr's need to be more open minded, treat the cause and not the symptoms.

I found Dr. Burchell to be friendl, punctual and helpful. My appointment was an initial consultation and I felt like the examination and information he provided was informative.

Is perhaps the best diagnostician in the metro Cincinnati area. Is kind, caring, and extremely intelligent.

I dont feel comfortable with a doctor who is a member of "Kentucky Doctors for Life Foundation". 502-895-5025. I feel I should be informed of such "memberships" as an important piece of information for choosing Physician.

My parents went to him for over 20 years. As each of them became more seriously ill, he was not available to the family for questions/concerns. He was not aggressive enough especially with older patients. He seemed very apathetic and had a morose demeanor. He remained nice to my parents but offered no hope or help. He would often start reminiscing about the plight of his own elderly parents during the office visit that my parents were paying for. He certainly didn't add any extra time to the visit once he was done with his stories! It seemed like the hopelessness he felt about their illnesses and demise he projected onto my parents. I personally would not recommend him to anyone but especially not anyone over 60.

Very pleasant, nice smile, listens to you. Takes special care with his patients.
