Duane Keitel's Online Review Report Card

I have been coming to this office for many years and have always been happy until now. The office manager either quiet or was fired. My daughter had a very bad allergic reaction while at the office and was given an epi pen injection. After a 20 min wait she was allowed to drive home. No emergency contact call was given. She was not in any shape to drive home. I am disappointed I was not contacted. I called when I found out what happened I was told by the office manager I would receive a call back when she knew the detailed. After many calls and no reply I found out she was no longer at the office and my daughters medicine had been thrown out. I asked to speak to the manager and that’s when I was told she was no longer at the office. I asked to speak to the doctor to find out why the medication was thrown away and we were not contacted I was told I’d have to pay another office visit to speak to the doctor. I then contacted corporate to let them know our medicine had been thrown away.

Corporate office assured me that was not the protocol for medication to be thrown away and customers to not be communicated with he told me he would get to the bottom of this and get back with me on what he could do. It took me three weeks and three phone For anyone at corporate to return my call. He told me I have no idea why my messages are not getting back to me but I will fix this. To date nothing has been fixed I’m not even sure the doctor knows what has happened to us. Multiple phone calls and zero communication. I’m sure a lot of this has to do with no office manager but customers should not be the one to take the fall for no communication or office management

Dr. Keitel is extremely knowledgeable & actually saved me from getting needed injections from a different provider who was “pushing” the testing.

We love Dr Kietel he has an amazing staff see them every month for my sons allergy shots! Just love them all

My daughter has seen Dr.Keitel since she was a baby and is now a teenager. He has always been very knowledgeable and thorough in his testing and recommendations and we even drove from Louisville to continue to see him. He takes time to answer all your questions and has a wonderful bedside manner. Can’t say enough about him!

BEWARE: You’ll be robbed of a few hundred dollars just for being a new patient. $320 for a child to be seen! I was told the visit met the “criteria” to be billed as Level 4, yet no one could tell me why nor were we told upfront about a new patient fee. RIDICULOUS.

I would recommend family and friends to Dr. Keitel. In a world where everyone is in a rush, Dr. Keitel takes his time with you and you never feel rushed or as if you can't ask a question because he has run out of time.

My Daughter was seen today by the Doctor and he is really knowledgeable and caring. You can tell he likes his practice. Plus the nurse that went over the information was really sweet. Thank You, Jim Singer
