Called made appt dr gainey he was going to be on vacation. Saw dr fryman but dr gainey was there. Suppose be my dr but last three times didn't see him. I would like have my records of 25 yrs from dr Arnold's but been 3 yes since request haven't gotten. No personal care. Out of touch office.

I went to the ER and he was on duty. I was experiencing extreme back pain. My BP and HR were elevated, indicating that I was obviously in pain.He treated me like a child. Basically called me a liar. I had even brought all of my most recent MRIs and other documents to support that I had a legitimate back issue. I showed them all of my current medication bottles, I gave a urine sample.I went there because at home I was having a very hard time even walking to the restroom. I was waiting on my insurance to approve another MRI. I explained that to the nurse and Dr. Gainey. All I wanted was a shot of something for pain. (I don’t do oral pain meds well)So, as I said he basically called me a liar when I told him I was having issues walking to the restroom. He told me that I walked in to that room. (crying as I was limping was more like it) Turns out that the l5 s1 disc has extruded, (basically ruptured) So, my pain was very real, very severe and a legitimate reason to seek pain relief in the ER.What I didn’t tell Mr. Gainey is that I am a Registered Nurse with 11years experience. I obviously can’t be a drug abuser (unless I want to lose my license upon random drug testing) His bedside manner is less than adequate even for a resident. What he did to me was not only unethical, but cruel. I would never take anyone to see him EVER. If I ever encounter him in my professional life, I will seek employment elsewhere, I refuse to work with unethical physicians that have poor bedside manner and do not care for their patients properly.I ended up getting an MRI a couple of days later and then having surgery a couple of days after that.

I wouldn't even give one star but I have to in order to share my experience. Dr gainey has miss diagnosed me 5 times and never listens to anything I try to get help woth. I have been called a liar and treated like a patient who is perfectly health y and seeking attention. My appointments are never on time and one time my appointment was at 10 am and I wasn't called back till almost noon. I have an extreme iron dificientcy sonce i was young and gainey stated I was normal and nothing was wrong with my blood test and then my new family doctor places me back on iron pills after having to be hospitalized one night when my iron was too low

I used to see Dr. Gainey and unless you are are single or a young, pretty female, he could care less. Numerous times he made comments about my sex life and suggested that I give my husband more oral sex, the more you feed into his inappropriate conversations, the longer the time he will spend with you. So unprofessional, not to mention disgusting coming from a so called doctor. Numerous people have filed complaints against him for such matters and yet Harrison Memorial continues to "side" with him. He will not hesitate to write scripts for pain medicine, etc for the females who will accept his advances, however if you do not, he will tell you he cannot help you. This man is a pervert who should have never have been able to practice medicine. When you genuinely have need for a narcotic medication, he treats you as if you are simply a drug seeker. But those who are well known drug seekers in that small town, get whatever prescription they want from him. The man is absolutely disgusting. Do NOT go to him!!!
