Steven Neus's Online Review Report Card

Doctor Neus makes you feel you are not just a number or a dollar bill. When he speaks to you he speaks to your level of understanding what your situation is and he makes you comfortable to his plan of your recovery or life plan you must do for your health. I have never met a Doctor like him. Dr. Neus has the most outstanding knowledge to treat you for many things and doesn't play around he refers you where you need to go if it needs specialized training in that area of your problem! He wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice his time if it means the health of one of his patients. I've witnessed him working a lot of long hour days. I am so humbly honored and blessed that he is all of my family physician. He has been my Doctor for least 20 years now and I love him to his bones like a brother!

VISTED DR NEUS FRIDAY 12- 13- 19. NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE WITH THIS STAFF. HAVE CALLED SEVERAL DIFFERENT TIMES. NOT ONE PHONE CALL RETURNED BACK FROM DR. NEUS AFTER LEAVING MESSAGES. HAD TO MAKE PHONE CALL AFTER PHONE CALL TO FIND OUT ABOUT A TEST THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ORDERED BY HIS STAFF. NEVER GOT A STRAIGHT ANSWER FROM THE STAFF ABOUT HOW I WAS TO PROCEED TO GET THIS TEST DONE WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE. CALLED HOSPITAL, INSURANCE COMPANY, AND OFFICE IN FOSTER, KY, SEVERAL TIMES. VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS DOCTOR DOES NOT RECEIVE HIS MESSAGES, OR GIVES HIS STAFF CLEAR DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO PROCEED. WENT TO ER DECEMBER 15 AND CALLED DR NEUS. NO RETURN PHONE CALL. THIS SHOULDN'T BE THIS DIFFICULT FOR A PATIENT THAT WAS TOLD THEY NEEDED A SCOPE BECAUSE OF THE HISTORY OF STOMACH CANCER IN THEIR FAMILY. WAS TOLD BY DOCTOR NEUS POSSIBLE STOMACH CANCER CAN BE AGGRESSIVE. WAS PROMISED BY MALE STAFF MEMBER I WOULD RECEIVE A CALL BACK TONIGHT. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. FINALLY FOUND OUT FROM STAFF TODAY THEY WERE WAITING ON AUTHORIZATION FROM INSURANCE COMPANY. CALLED INSURANCE COMPANY AND HAD THEM FAX IT IN. WAS TOLD BY OFFICE STAFF TWICE TODAY THEY RECEIVED IT AND FAXED IT IN. CALLED ST E. AND THEY NEVER RECEIVED IT. CALLED OFFICE AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THIS WAS SENT TO A ST. E. DOCTOR'S OFFICE AND THEY WOULD CALL, WHICH I HESITATE TO BELIEVE AT THIS POINT. A PATIENT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO TO THIS MUCH WORK. THIS IS SAD BECAUSE I HAD HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS DOCTOR. AFTER 6 DAYS A CALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE TO ME FROM THIS OFFICE.

Love this guy. Very educated and caring. Great bedside manner. He came highly recommended and now I highly recommend him as well.

I had some serious health problems several years ago and I believe that Dr. Neus was a tool used by God to save my life--not once, but three times in one year. He is the best Doctor that I have ever gone to. I drive 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to appointments, but I do not want any other Doctor. He is not only a professional, but has genuine care for his patients.

Dr. Steven Neus is the best doctor I have ever met. He takes the time to answer questions and makes sure the patient understands what he is saying. He will even draw diagrams to help the patient visualize what is happening with their body. Appointments are hard to get and wait times are long but this is simply because he is so well respected and considered the best doctor in the area and spends time with his patients, he does not rush them out the door just to see the most patients and get maximum money. If I hadn't moved over 200 miles away, he would still be my doctor. He will fight for his patients, he has done it for myself and my children when it came to insurance not wanting to cover procedures or medicine. He has stayed late in the evening just so my kids. My daughter was born premature and had a few problems to overcome and he gave us his personal cell phone and home phone numbers in case she had any problems while the office was closed. We called him on a Saturday and she was having breathing problems. He told us to get her to the office right then, he would meet us. The office wasn't open and he was the only person in the building, besides us. Dr. Neus is the best there is, this country needs more doctors like him. He is part of a group of physicians. One of his patients passed away a while ago and donated some money to the physicians group and Dr. Neus ended up with his own wing at the office. That says a lot about what a great doctor he is.
