List of Troy Ashcraft's Reviews
I have gone to dr Ashcroft for a long time now and my family sees him as well but I’ve noticed past couple years he does not seem to care as much anymore about the welfare of his patients he is quick to give meds and doesn’t do thorough examinations. I wait forever in the office to actually see him. He has definitely changed as a doctor. If you have any serious health concerns he is not the one to go to.
BEST doctor EVER. I highly recommend him to ANYONE!! He's the only doctor I've ever been to that actually takes his time with the appointment. He doesn't try to rush you out of his office.
We have been with Dr. Ashcraft since 2005. We have since moved to Florence but still make the drive because we are so satisfied with the care that we receive there. The staff are extremely personable and attentive to your needs. Mindy is always on top of her game. Myself and my 3 grandchildren have seen others within the practice but my husband will only see Dr. Ashcraft. Not to publicize, but they just let me "slip" my husband into the same slot as the kids this past Saturday because I had just realized his medication refills were out and he needed to be seen. They have always been good at trying to make the visits easier for me and my family. I have and will continue to refer others to this very capable and caring practice.
Always takes the time to make you feel comfortable and to adress your oncerns and needs.
I thought he was a good doctor, until he actually needed to do more than just a check up for my daughter. He said to increase use of a medication that was causing negative side effects on a six year old.He also missed scoliosis that can be seen by the untrained eye (A FORTY THREE DEGREE CURVE). When asked what a usual check up for a new school aged kid entails, he could not give a single answer.I am very disappointed by his service and how he tries to place blame on coworkers to take away from himself.
Dr. Ashcraft has been my primary Physician for 15 years now. He also sees my parents. We wouldn't trade him for anyone. He and Mindy hold a special place in our family. I have lived in many states thanks to the military and federal government and have experienced many health care providers. Ican honestly say that I trust him and his level of care above all others.
I've been a patient of Dr Ashcraft's for over 5 years. He, the nurses and Mindy at the front desk are always so caring and considerate. He takes time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. You know that he wants to do whatever he can to give you a better quality of life. If you're sick one day, they fit you in so you're not waiting another day and miserable. I really appreciate Dr. Ashcraft and everyone in his practice.
I recently started going to Dr. Ashcraft because I moved from out of state. This has been, by far, worst doctor I have ever been to. He has not once taken the time to get to know me or my medical history. You wait 40-50 minutes to see him, he doesn't act concerned about your well-being and to add to it his office receptionist is rude & acts like you're a bother to her.
My husband and I like him very much. He takes time to listen and answers questions. We have been seeing him for 19 years
Dr. Ashcraft is the best doctor I have ever seen. He takes care of my whole family. I trust him and enjoy the staff as well!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
