Dr Caldwell saved my leg. A stent placed by another doctor clotted off and the ER contacted Dr Caldwell (who was on call). He immediately transferred me to Edgewood where he was able to open up the blockage in my stent. He saved my leg. He is now MY vascular surgeon. My wife and I are very grateful for him. I can LIVE MY LIFE now!!!! He is the greatest!!!
My mother recently found out she had a large aortic aneurysm. She went and saw Dr Caldwell. His office staff was great and she was seen within a few days. She was in surgery within a week and did fantastic. He placed a covered stent in her abdomen to cover the aneurysm and she went home the next day. My mother and I are very greatful for everything he did. He saved her life. Although he is young, he is a wonderful physician. Dr Caldwell is an exceptional surgeon and took amazing care of my mom
Dr Caldwell is a fantastic and caring physician. I had a blockage in my carotid artery and he fixed it. He took the time to explain all of my options and the risks involved with the procedure. He was extremely compassionate. My wife really liked him as well. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a vascular surgeon.
Worried more about what the "literature" says than answering our questions about a potentially life threatening condition. Talked a lot about what another hospital didn't do correctly. Did not explain why surgery wasn't an option. Was in and out of patient's room within 5 minutes. Did not return phone call when it was determined that the problem was more serious than he first told us about. Over 24 hours before anyone from his team responded. His replacement, Dr. Martin was exceptional

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
