Dr. Yates came in to talk with us and seemed reluctant to do so after we had to request to speak to him over the course of two days — standing with his hands in his pockets and not offering much of anything until asked, making us feel like we were wasting his time. His short visit made me angry and disappointed that there are people like him practicing medicine. My wife felt like he was treating her like she was dumb for asking questions about something we've never had a family member go through, and what to expect from the diagnosis. I would normally give him the benefit of the doubt, we all have bad days, but I don't think it's a mistake the only reviews I see related to him express similar opinions. I feel for the nurses and aides that have to work with him, I can only imagine how he treats them.

Dr. Yates basically had no interest in my mother’s health. He’s uninformed unconcerned in a waste of oxygen. Garden Colvin do your job!

Dr. Yates was my hospitalist doctor. He is condescending when he talks to patients, I hate that he gets to act like that to patients every day.
