I trust Dr. Guenther and know that I am in good hands. He takes his time during patient appointments, explains things well and is very patient. Not only has he been doing this for many years, his wife is a breast cancer survivor so I am sure he understands the underlying worry and anxiety that comes with a breast cancer diagnosis.

His ego overtakes any potential bedside manner and I would not recommend him to anyone dealing with breast cancer. He recommended a lumpectomy after my THIRD breast cancer diagnosis. I went elsewhere and had a double mastectomy, which probably has saved my life.

This Dr. has absolutely no bedside manner,compassion or empathy what so ever! I have suffered from depression since my surgery. I tried telling him that I feel like I have been mutilated, not that he mutilated me. His reaction shocked me. He said " I'll try not to take that personally" and walked out of the room! -Stars if I could.

If I could post this with NEGATIVE one million stars I would, but you must have at least one star to post. Michael Guenther is a careless, negligent, & dangerous surgeon. He removed fatty tissue from the completely wrong area of my sisters breast instead of the lump that needed to come out. Was in too much of a hurry to watch the RNC than to do the correct surgery on my sister. Refused to acknowledge his mistake. Reporting him to Ky. State Medical Board. Unprofessional and incompetent.

Is 0 stars an option? Dr Guenther operated on my grandfather 3 years ago & ended up taking out a vital organ that ultimately cost my grandpa his life & even told us after he had ended up in the ICU that if he could go back & operate on him again, he would have done everything the exact same… you don’t say that to the family members if your dying patient… the entire faculty of St. Elizabeth Edgewood was awful.

Dr. Guenther performed my lumpectomy over 5 years ago. Even though I told him to remove as much of my breast tissue as needed to make sure to remove all of the cancer cells on the first surgery and leave a large, clear margin, he did not. So a month alter I had to go back for a second round of surgery, which never should have happened. Over the years I have encountered pain, numerous lumps and very unsightly scaring. I would not recommend him for any type of breast surgery.

Very Bad bedside Manner did not catch a perf that was done when inserting Husbands Feeding tube during surgery. My Husband went Sepsis and I lost him . My Life has been Shattered in so many ways , I know people are not perfect but No nurses or No one caught it , I’m not a nurse but I hope & wish everyone to study on surgeries and especially Sepsis and the Symptoms. GOD BLESS
