List of MIchael Minning's Reviews
Dr. Minning is a caring, supportive physician. Highly recommend!
He was 1 Hour & 15 minutes late and I was the 1st scheduled appt. for the Day. He spent less than 15 minutes with me which was not an issue as I was only there for a 6 month check up for RX refill. He charged me an up charge of 45 minutes for the refill. I changed Doctors after this. Felling Ripped off!
Great Doctor. I highly recommend him.
Always listens. Very thorough. Coordinates well with other providers and specialists. Understands conditions in depth. Compassionate. Personable. Considerate of individual needs.
I usually go to Dr. Minning for my annual well visit but when I called this time I was on hold for 25 minutes before a receptionist picked up and she said he has nothing available in the months of May , June, or July. He is either in high demand or once again there is a flaw with our Health Care System. I guess I'll search for a new doctor :(
How are appts rated? If by time-never followed because you usually have people come in after you but are seen before you. Waiting time last appt was 2 1/2 hours and there was no one else in office. X-rays and bone density done and was assured for results to be read and a call to be given to me with final results. It is now going on week 3. Was told last time I called that dr would be in today and Monday then was going out for a 2 week vacation. Guess what-no surprises-test results are and have been in possession since hospital sent them over on the same day they were done!!! All I get is I'll leave msg and dr will call back after h reads them. It seems like this never happens. If you are physically short staffed then hire another partner or for nothing else hire a separate Doctor who is qualified to result a test result and who would have the courtesy to call patients back. This is a special case as it is for my son who is hunchback and we always need the X-ray as a measuring matrix for any enlargement or changes to muscular changes, poss nerve damage to impart his mobility further. It is very hard to keep an autistic non verbal person with psychotic episodes in a positive frame of mind when you are trying to convince yourself that you are not putting him in danger because the info is being withheld. When this group was summit medical before they became part of st e physicians there seemed to be more concentration / focus on patient and less on how much time this is taking me. There needs to be more inner and inter office communications. Leaving notes apparently does not do any good since apparently they go unread anyway. They need more cohesion. I have been with this group from heimbrock & nutini to Grober& weckenbrock , to summit medical and st e physicians. That is 42 years and 3 generations of my family. You would think that type of loyalty would speak volumes of concern and care. When summit med closed we chose dr Mike for his outstanding rep, patient care , follow up care. Now it seems like he being pulled in too many directions
We have been with this specific group from 1974. Ease of appt not a horrendous wait time and wait would be about 40-45 min total. Arrival is 15 min prior to appt for check in. Not exactly certain how appts run-you are there 15 min early but others who come in after you get treated quicker. Last spot for my son we waited approx 2 hours 15 min when later arrivals were seen first. Not enough time taken. Needed to have X-rays and bone density scan done last week and still tests not read.
Dr Minning is very kind and professional, and truly concerned about his patients well being.
This office staff is extremely difficult to work with. They will hire just anyone to answer phones. No customer service; nobody can do their job and they do not give a damn about the patients. They are clearly employeed for the paycheck. Dr. Minning should be extremely disappointed in his staff. As an employee of St. Elizabeth, I know this office does not live up to St. Elizabeth's standards. THis office is an embarrassment to St. Elizabeth Healthcare. I do not recommend this office to anyone in seek of a family physician.
Let's face it, doctors are doctors - they are not office managers. The staff at this office need a dose of happy pills. I was kept waiting for over an hour before the doctor saw me, so I booked a first morning appt next time, and was still kept waiting 40 minutes. I don't know what the answer is, but my blood pressure spikes every time I visit this office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
