Dr, Durrani recently performed emergency surgery on my husband. A surgery she reluctantly (chances of infection and bleeding) decided upon because of necessity. Prior to the surgery, she discussed the whole procedure and what was happening to my husband, thoroughly with my son and me. Before, during, after, care was over the top. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Durrani and St. Elizabeth Edgewood Cardiac ICU. My husband will soon be dismissed from the St. E TCU unit, another top notch department. I write this review with a thankful heart for the professionalism shown and truly caring doctors and nurses and the staff we have been blessed with at this outstanding medical establishment.

At first I thought she was great, but her last decision for my mother was less then desirable. Did not realize for over 8 hours I had not been contacted for life decisions & her demeanor that final day was disgusting. Instead of making me feel at ease, I was made to feel like we were taking up space. I think it’s sad St. E is all we have in NKy. I pray I have other options if me or any of my family is in that situation ever again.

I received the best care ever. Dr. Durango cares about the patient. She explains the condition and all options. Would highly recommend her and her team.

Dr. Durrani was excellent in my experience with her. She explained the procedure that she was about to do in great detail, making sure I understood and answered any questions I had. She was professional but also put me and my family at ease. It was very clear that she was very good at her job. Surgery went well, follow up care was great. Would not hesitate to go back to her if needed or recommend her to friends and family.

She was unfriendly and very short with me. Seemed like she had personal problems preoccupying her as she kept checking her mobile texts. I hope I never have to have another surgery at St. Elizabeth.

Dr. Durrani is a breath of fresh air when it comes to surgeons. She helped my dad with a difficult surgery and she explained everything in minute detail to us. Not only is she a fantastic surgeon, but her bedside manner is fabulous as well. She has followed up and gone out of her way to make sure his recovery is complete. We are so glad we went to her.

So courteus and informative to my wife and me. After her explanation I almost felt like I could have done the surgery she was so thorough and complete in her description. After surgery she continued to guide us with things that she no longer controlled but helped us get to who we needed to see
