The doctor is fine, but the B.....es working for them would never have been hired by ME for MY office. 4 visits, no one says hello, you wait to sign in, they purposefully do NOT look up, they never make eye contact, no followup appears on the Baptist Health website, you call back several times, they can't find your record or it is incomplete, they put the phone down so you can hear them belittling you while they talk about you and then they do not call you back.

I recently went to see Dr. Benjamin Proctor for my continuing Opthamology appt. His staff was gracious and efficient. Dr. Proctor was amazing and thorough. I have several eye issues. Dr. Proctor made me feel comfortable and relieved my fears of seeing a new Doctor.

I don't think I would see this doctor again, even if he was the last one on earth. Not like I could anyway considering I just received a patient discharge letter. Last time I was in his office we discussed there was nothing more he could for me but I don't feel like a discharge letter was necessary considering I still have a perscription called in from there about every 6 months. The only reason I even continued going to him was because there weren't any other opthamologists in this town. He has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen and almost made it seem like I was an inconvenience to him every time I saw him. Granted, my case wasn't cut and dry and a little more complex but aren't doctors supposed to want to help their patients? If you want a doctor who will listen and actually seems to care I do not suggest Dr. Proctor.
