I came into the hospital nearly immobile due to a severe polinoidal abscess. I have fibromyalgia, a chronic nerve condition that increases pain sensitivity. Dr. Busch unfortunately was my doctor. I explained to her my worries about pain especially because of my condition. When she started to incision and drainage procedure I began to cry and told her I dont know if I could do it because I was in pain and scared. She immediately berated me screaming loudly multiple times that I must have a mental disorder to act like that and I must have made the fibromyalgia up! Other patients and personnel were alerted and began looking in my room at her commotion. Her nurse hannah apologized for her actions and eventually convinced to let her try. Against my judgment I let her drain it. She was rough and didnt do it well. Within 2 weeks I was readmitted somewhere else to go through it again. BLACK LIVES DONT MATTER TO HER! I am so scared that this is the closest hospital to me in case of emergency and will request to an ambulance to go to a further hospital rather than risk dying in her care. Horrible beside manner, zero compassion, not minority tolerant, unprofessional. The good news is after the second doctor performed a proper incision and drainage I have not had ti be readmitted for this same issue. She needs to be the kind of doctor that reads books and finds cure instead of working with the public. Minorities beware, please dont go to JEWISH east.
