When I was having trouble breathing, instead of telling me it was anxiety, she scoped me and did an allergy test. A tumor was found blocking my airway and soon removed, as well as the allergy test leading to an alpha-gal diagnosis. She basically saved my life while the other doctors told me I needed antidepressants and yoga! Lol.

Had an upper scope with Dr. Buchanan. Was a great experience at the hospital and everything went well. She was very professional and told me what I needed to know. Thank you Dr. Buchanan!

She was very nice when I had a scope and biopsy done. She was comforting, and very sweet! She made sure to figure out why I was having issues.

if i could give ZERO STARS I would...worst GI doctor I have been to and I have been to some VERY BAD doctors...she was horrible.....no help at all.....HORRIBLE bedside manner...very abusive and abrasive....mean doctor...do not waste your time with this one

Saw Dr. Buchanan and was humiliated and treated horribly by her... i went to her for severe GI issues and she refused to listen to my symptoms., and refused tests that I felt were important, and refused to look at the reports I brought with me to show her...her bedside manner is atrocious ....I left crying and upset that there could be such cruel people in this world.....do not go to this doctor.

The whole office is terrible. If you are this backed up do not accept any new patients its greedy and unprofessional. Should not take over a week and no returned call about medication. I would not wast your time.

Good luck getting an appointment with this Dr. And if you do get an appointment, good luck with it not being rescheduled because she is going to be "unavailable". Thousands of dollars of testing later and no diagnosis and still in pain, but, can't schedule an appointment within 6 months time? Not what I call great bedside manner. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Really like Jenny Whitsell and Dr. Buchanan but getting them on the phone to even make an appointment is tiresome. Called numerous times to even get my test results and they wont return a phone call either.
