This doctor should not be licensed to practice. He allowed his personal biases to control how he responded to my treatment of major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. He did not demonstrate any empathy or concern for how badly the illness was affecting me nor did I leave his office with any treatment plan. Despite multiple "mychart" messages to him he was not willing or able to provide any treatment plan. I was a new patient and was only on prozac and lamictal from my GP.

Office visits are 5 minutes long and I feel rushed out the door.He is usually late.He does not listen to what I try to tell him is going on.He switches my medication without giving it time to kick in.He contradicts himself and does not know what he has prescribed you.Its like he is there for a paycheck and has no regard for his patients. He will not help with paperwork.I had to remind him of what medication I was taking.He does not take good notes during visits.He doesn't care about his patients

Simply does not listen to his patients. I understand that he is a staff psychiatrist at St. Elizabeth, but he seemed eager to get my appointment over with the entire time I was there. Also, getting prescriptions refilled has been a nightmare.

I leave a single star as the zero option is not possible. After begging for help from St E's behavioral health for a family member, an attempt at suicide landed him in the facility for observation. Dr. Tauro spent precious few minutes to determine that the family doctor could care for him and released him. After speaking with a nurse and social worker, he continued to refuse to so much as give a referral. I am sure he will lose no sleep should this family member act again on his feelings again.
