For dangerous throat swelling, she told me to take the epinephrine injection and go to the emergency room That should have been only the last miserable, last-ditch effort and worse during covid. She ignored the obvious Prednisone which works great and would have most likely eliminated the suffering and precluded an er visit. I felt that was uncaring and irresponsible. She also was very miserly with her time. She wanted every minute paid for in an official visit. To a degree, I agree but most doctors show more compassion. That whole issue is very debatable and my primary knocks it out of the park on that issue.

I highly recommend Dr. Castilano! She explained everything so well and took the time to answer all of my questions. She is very caring and her staff is also excellent. This is a great practice for anyone with allergies. We also appreciated that she is a board certified allergist.

I have been very skeptical, ever since I was a teenager, about whether allergy shots really worked. I took allergy shots for about 8 months when I was around 18 years old. I didn't notice any improvements with my sinus and allergy problems after this amount of time, so I quit taking the shots. I am now 61 years old, I have been on so many antibiotics over my lifetime that I was beginning to worry that someday I could become immune to them. Then I met up with Dr. Castilano. She came across as a very caring person and someone that knew what she was talking about in her field. She convinced me to begin taking allergy shots and take them for at least a year to see if I showed any signs of improvement. I am HAPPY to say that after taking shots regularly for well over a year, I am doing so much better! I actually made it through March and April without having to take any antibiotics, steroid shots or even go to a Doctor! THANKS Dr. Castilano! You have helped make my life more enjoyable.

Amy and the nurse Brittany were great. They listened and did everything they could to help me resolve my issue.

First visit, no waiting. Nurse was very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Dr. Castilano listened to my symptoms & very interested in a solution for me. Very impressed with these people.

Dr. Castilano is by far one of the most empathic, engaging, and helpful doctors I have had the pleasure of being treated by. I am not exaggerating when I say she turned my life around in one visit. I had been misdiagnosed and mistreated by previous healthcare providers. I was told by another provider, my symptoms and issues were caused by mental illnesses. After 15 minutes with Dr. Castilano, she looked me in the eyes and told me that I was suffering from something physical, possibly even auto-immune. I cannot thank her enough for her caring disposition and follow-up. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with her, just know that you will be well taken care of.

I'm always trying to "tough things out" but this particular day I was having problems breathing (other symptoms) but I did not know if it was considered a serious emergency. Seen the doctors office in the past and hoped she could could see me, well, she accepted me on the spot! Dr. Castilano said I was in bad shape and if I had waited longer my condition would've worse. She and her staff quickly put me on antibiotics and other medications to improve my breathing/other symptoms. Dr. Castilano/staff - right from the start they are consistently compassionate, attentive, and highly knowledgeable. They (Lindsey, Jess, Erin) take the time to listen and address your every concern. I, now have been a patient for almost a year and my health has greatly improved! I highly recommend Dr. Castilano, MD as a superb human being and a top professional.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Amy Castilano and her staff. Wonderful experience! I have suffered for years with allergies and then developed asthma. The last 2 years my breathing has been effected so much, at times it was debilitating. My daughter recommended Family Allergy & Asthma. I am feeling better than I have in years! Even though I have a few allergy symptoms in peak seasons, my asthma is completely under control. What a great feeling it is to be able to breathe freely all of the time!!!
