List of Charles Breen's Reviews
Went for glaucoma treatment and cararact. The office is small. Receptionist friendly. Dr. Breen was thorough with glaucoma and cataract tests. My only problem is after he referred me to a glaucoma specialist, he will no longer see me, even after the specialist told me to go back to Dr. Breen! I have been a patient of St. Elizabeth's physicians for 30 years! Will not see this physician again. Would like to see another ophthalmologist but because of this, no one at St. E's or Midwest Eye Center will take me as a patient. They are the only two practices that accept my health insurance. Not helpful at all. With glaucoma, check ups are important. St. Elizabeth physician, Dr. Breen, gave prescription for the highest priced eye drop without follow up care.
This place is great! Dr Breen and his staff are such good people. The point I would like to get across to people is that you are not just a number here. They listen, they are very thorough and they do not rush you in and out. It was obvious they were more interested in my eyes than they were my money. I have total confidence in this practice.
A very nice & friendly staff & Doctor. With the through eye exam I was so happy to learn more about my eyes. This Office is one of the cleanest Offices I have ever visited.
They tried 3 times to give me a prescription to improve my vision. All three were worst than my original glasses. I gave up and will look for a different provider!
ehh he's a guesser.. i dnt have a problem with dry eyes at all and he blamed my flare up on having dry eyes.. my eye was bloodshot red oozing tears and severe pain all over.. i took valtrex cuz i believe it is ocular herpes and he thinks that's rare and i said i took valtrex n it cleared right up.. he thinks was coincidence.. altho he is very pleasant doesn't mean he is good.
You make up bogus bills. I have stayed quiet 4 2 yrs now and i watch how u take advantage of people that will just always pay. I know u r a CROOK. i have seen it 1st hand. U haven't done this once or twice. SEVERAL TIMES!!! Retire u old thief
Thank you for your excellent care! I also want to extend a special thank you to Holly. She is a very compassionate and was wonderful with patient services. She went above and beyond helping my mom with a difficult and overwhelming situation! Thanks again to Dr. Breen and your amazing staff!
Dr Breen did cataract surgery - normally a very simple procedure - on my husband's left eye, but after the surgery, my husband's vision was worse in that eye. We had to rush around a couple days later because his vision was worse in that eye, Dr Breen said he was not going to remove the full-blown cataract in his right eye, and my husband was left with *severely* messed up vision. So messed up that a 2nd ophthalmic surgeon we found got my husband in for a 2nd surgery. Now his vision's great.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Breen. He took lots of time to explain my condition and answered all my questions. The staff was also extremely knowledgeable.
Of course I don't know the situation as to why anyone would make reference to a "scam", but Dr. Breen is within the reputable and award winning St. Elizabeth Physicians group. I've been to his practice a few times and personally have never had a problem. The staff has been courteous and Dr. Breen quickly and accurately addressed the purpose of my visits. I have no complaints. Any charges not covered by insurance were known up front and I haven't been back to Wing Eye Care since.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
