As a born pessimist, I was sure my retina problems would be insurmountable. However Dr. Devine explained that what I was experiencing was fairly common and assuaged my fears for the future. At no time did I feel rushed, was able to ask all the questions I had, and he assured me that he and his staff would take phone calls at any time if I thought a problem had arisen. He gave time lines for what to expect and was extremely conscientious in making sure I understood his explanation. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you

If you have to wait that long at a doctor's office, at leat have some decent magazines,clean comfortable chairs, or a tv with the news on to pass time. Office is ugly and dirty and I have to say the same about the staff. My appointment time was 8:30 AM. and the waste cans from the previos day were briming over, there was no evidence of the staff cleaning hands or anything that the patients touched were cleaned after each use. Very disturbing place. One of the assistants was so skanky and mean that i have to see another doctor to see how serious the damage is from her less than kind treatment. Run the other way.

I had to wait for the reason, I was a call in from an eye appt with wing eye care. And discovered I could not see out of left eye.. I have macular degeneration. Overall I was pleased with my visit.

Wait time is ridiculous. Spent lots of time getting expensive tests then very little time with the doctor. Not very informative, acts like he could care less about you.

Hard to judge quality of care when general concern for patients is so poor. The macular shots require several visits and every time we've been there we've had to wait at least 3 hours! They apparently have all patients come in at once to suit the doctors instead of staggering the appointment times. They require an additional first visit because insurance wasn't covering the injection, which, again seems to be for the benefit of the doctor's office, while making things extremely inconvenient for the patient. The shots are not guaranteed either, and I can't understand why they are not more concerned about their patients. An example: the water cooler contained bad, foul smelling water and when brought to staff's attention, they snapped, "just don't drink it". Thankfully there are many other retinal specialists in Cincinnati!
