Your just a body laying around for hours at their mercy, there’s no empathy for their patients

Not happy with how quickly they discharge patients. My husband is practically booted out after every surgery way too soon. Even after l voice my concerns they still discharge him. He is a non-compliant patient. He is compliant for you because you have plenty of staff and alarms. Not impressed.

Wonderful hospital with a supportive staff. They took extremely good care of my mother in law. Sophia K. Went above and beyond while escorting her to surgery to make her feel calm. The anesthesia team was very helpful and the nurses and physician were calm and caring with her during the entire process.

Called three times to try and schedule an appointment, got hung up on each time

This evening I brought my daughter to Florence st Elizabeth. They were busy and when they did take her back she was put in the hall. I was told she would be moved into an emergency room as they came available but since she is in the hall I couldn’t go back. After five hours and others being put into rooms with their relative I’m still waiting and she is still in the hall. I asked for an explanation and was told she was hallway appropriate. Others that were taken back were sprains people with limps a child who was having problems pooping. I’m not sure what makes one person more important than another. I could understand if in a lot of pain etc. but this was not the case. Bet the hall cost as much as a room

Don’t go here go to Edgewood!! Been asking since my loved one was admitted for help and a Social worker and the only time anyone calls is upon discharge. We have been struggling with no answers since December but at least at Edgewood they heard my concerns called me every day. They wanna spring discharge on you as if your just settling at home not the case when you have your own health problems!! Never did I get any help from this hospital. Maybe they will learn to call before just discharging!! Doctors should always call the family. I still have questions. Horrible experience!!!

We have received the best of care from ALL St. Elizabeth facilities and hospitals. My husband and I recently moved to Louisville and chose to take the 1 1/2 drive to these facilities because we don't won't to give up the caring staff, volunteers, nurses and doctors. I want to comment especially on the staff and nurses at the Cancer Center. Just having found out I have breast cancer, I felt so much support and love from them. They are wonderful, especially Amy, Krissy, and Jessica. Thank you everyone at St. Elizabeth, we love you.

Horrible hospital. Do not recommend. Nurses are lazy. Don't come check on you when you feel like you're dying. Just Horrible. Do not come here.

I just want to talk about the triage nurse at the counter when we were checking in. My boyfriend was literally rolling around on the floor in pain, begging to be seen for an hour. She kept throwing her hands up in annoyance and chuckling along with a security guy and a nurse. Turns out he had pneumonia and was passing a kidney stone. She was probably 40-50 with curly black hair with some gray and it was a Tuesday night around 10pm how dare you as someone who deals with people in severe pain act like that. She was treating him like he was a drama queen or scoring drugs. Can’t believe it. I’m very non confrontational and was worrying about him and what to do but after he was finally seen and they gave him something for pain and he seemed to have calmed down a little bit I went out their to let her know it was completely unprofessional and not a way anyone should act in this field and there was a different person there, oops guess she was annoyed because it was shift change 🙄 I’ve never been so mad in my life.
