Awful awful experience. I was completely disregarded and dismissed. If you’re looking for an antibiotic or antidepressant, this place might be fine… If you have any real health issues, don’t waste your time.

Unacceptable attitude towards Medicare patients. During my first visit with Dr. Tolbert he spent approximately 25% of his time complaining about Medicare insurance and patients that complained about his treatment practices. After some time with Dr. Tolbert amid a deteriorating relationship with him, I decided to move on and am much happier for those efforts. If you are on Medicare this is not the Dr. for you. Keep searching, there are much better choices in physicians out there that are available.

Always has time, listens and HEARS what you are saying. Explains so you understand. Fabulous bedside manner. Very compassionate. . Literally saved my life. 3 years dealing with other docs... 3 months with Dr J and I had a diagnosis. I only wish I had been seeing him for many years. Would recommend everyone to go to him. He is that awesome

Dr Tolbert is an excellent Dr. He listens to your situation without rushing you. He goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are addressed. I have zero complaints!!

Very disappointed highly do not recommend. I made an appointment with this doctor so I can be seen for something pretty important, hoping to finally find a good primary care physician. I had to book my appointment a month away because our schedules clashed which is fine. 3 weeks after booking my appointment they call me and tell me the doctor is canceling the appointment and the only day they had available wouldn't be for another month!! By then I will probably have an infection or have lost my finger which I am worried about. I will continue looking for a new primary care physician so I can get my serious situation taken care of. So sad this is how people who are supposed to help you, treat you.

This office treats their staff like they don't even matter. It makes me wonder if they treat some of their patients the same way. One day this place will be reported about their standards, and I hope it changes a lot of things that go on. Good luck to anyone who goes there!

Everyone at the office is polite and professional. Dr. Tolbert is very informative and takes his time going over all of your concerns.

First I want to say that I think Dr. Tolbert is a GREAT doctor! I haven't felt this good in years and he seems to genuinely care about us as patients. Unfortunately, I am not happy with the office policies and appointment staff. My husband tried to combine visits and I was so surprised at the office response that I assumed there was a misunderstanding. I had to call for myself. He was right, we could not combine a pre-surgical exam and a routine 6 month diabetes check-up which were scheduled 19 days apart. I believe both exams include a glucose test and a physical exam, so we didn't see the need to show up twice in the same month for the same thing, plus have a surgery and hospital stay in the middle of the same time period. The person we spoke with said it was Office Policy and she was very unsympathetic that our request would not be accommodated. The least bit of compassion would have made a difference in this review. Her explanation was that they they could not bill insurance for two exams at one time. To be fair, I don't know whether it is Dr. Tolbert's office policy or Christ Hospital Office policy. Either way it was about money not necessity. 5 stars for Dr. Tolbert...0 stars for Amy and office policy.

Dr. Tolbert is my mothers doctor and today I went with her to discuss some concerns. He spent a very long time talking with us, not at us. He is a truly caring man, patient with my mom, and very easy to talk with. Dr. Tolbert is like doctors used to be before medicine turned into big business with a focus on profit. I highly recommend him and I'm seriously considering seeing if he will take me as a patient.
