Terrible Doctor. Missed one appointment by accident. He wrote a letter and said if there were two more appointments missed would be band from all the doctors at St. Elizabeth's Physicians. Threating letter because of one miss appointment which btw was an accident.

I have received services from Dr. Barth for over 8yrs subsequent to a lengthy emergency hospital stay. I had not seen a doctor for a few decades, so I was leery of any physcian. Dr. Barth always treats me with respect and explains the procedure(s) so I know the details and my options for the procedure. I strongly recommend Dr. Barth to many of my friends. Without exception, they share similar experiences of a compassionate, knowledgeable and caring physician.

Have been seeing Dr. Barth for years. He is everything you want in a doctor: knowledgeable, compassionate, takes the time to make sure you you have the necessary information about your health issues without distressing you. I went through several health challenges in one year and he educated me, helped me with referrals to specialists and kept me calm through some challenging issues. Many if my friends in the medical field also go to Dr. Barth which speaks volumes about his compassion and capabilities.

When my St. Elizabeth physician moved to a new location, Dr Barth was highly recommended by a friend at the St. Elizabeth Florence location. However when I called to make an appointment with Dr Barth (web site indicates he is accepting new patients), I was informed there would be a six month appointment wait as a 'new patient'. Maybe it is just me, but as a customer/patient, I don't believe it is reasonable or fair to advertise availability when it takes a half of a year to become available.

Dr. Barth was our family physician for about 4 years. The only reason we stopped seeing him was because we moved 700 miles a way and it just wasn't practical. Dr. Barth listens to his patients and treats them with respect. He is also wonderful with kids. My daughter (11) hasn't been in to see since she was 5 and see still talks about how she wishes he was still her doctor!

Dr. Barth is absolutely the best doctor in the world - very caring, listens intently to your health concerns, clearly explains his diagnosis and ensures you fully understand your health challenges and the course of treatment recommended as well as the actions the patient should take in this process. Dr. Barth is very compassionate and encourages the patient to take the necessary steps to participate in the partnership to improve their health. His office staff and medical assistant are great at getting you through the check-in process. I have yet to sit in the waiting area long enough to warm a seat!
