Okay people that are saying this doctor is horrible is just crazy he is by far the best eye doctor I have ever seen he gave me life to my eyes so to speak. The people that are throwing shade are just unhappy people. I can see better than I have ever seen in my life. I and my whole family continues to see him to this day and are more than happy.
He is very fast and explains everything in plain detail on his work. He is also very comforting when it came to me needing cataract surgery. The wait can be long sometimes but not all of the time I mean he is the only one here really which is nice. I don’t like everyone accessing my information and working on me. Everyone in this office is very nice and polite as well. Dr Richard has been my ophthalmologist since 2014.
Horrible. He almost blinded me.
I have never met a Dr so unprofessional. He makes you think you have something serious wrong with your eyes. Then when you ask him he dismisses you and then refers you to a specialist. His responses were very quirky and his bedside manner is awful. He even cursed which was wrong. I wouldnt recommend him
Dr. Rick is an excellent doctor. I love me some Dr. Rick He is very peopleoriented has a great bedside manner including having an understanding and putyourselfatease bedside manner. He really listens to you and gives you easy to understand and stepbystep instructions concerning your eye care health while at the same time letting you know what to expect if you have to have surgery. same time lightening your concerns
In my first experience at Dr. Abrahamsons office I was shoed in and out. I came for a routine eye examination and I had a very new technician who incorrectly prescribed me 2 above my previous prescription. She told me that my eyes are quite bad and that I shouldnt sleep with my contacts I dont sleep with my contacts and never have. My eyes were dialated and I couldnt quite read the prescription but when I got back to my apartment I realized that there was no way my eyes were that bad. I
I had to look Dr. Abrahamson phone to confirm a test to be done. I happened to look at his reviews and was surprised. I certainly cant speak for anyone else but the Dr. Abrahamson inc. have my complete confidence. I started with his Grandfather at age 9 I am now 65 went to his father who took over the practice from his father and now I see Rick and I wouldnt have it any other way. Yes Dr. R can seem to be running ten different ways at a time and yes I have had wait sometimes but I am VERY particular with my eyes. And THAT is why I generally dont object to waiting an extra 30 minutes. Dr. R. is in my experience the best at what he does. And isnt that what we all want?
Dr. Abrahamson is great. I trust him. He takes the time to explain things when asked to and always asks if I need anything or if there was something I do not understand he would be happy to talk to me about it. He was always open to talking with my husband as well. Office is always clean and the environment is nice. The wait times on the phone is not expectable. Matt is a great asset to the office as well.
Great Doctor the best
No Patient at all... Made patient wait more than 1 hr then he wants the eye exam to be done in a rush... Such a Bad experience....

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
