List of John V. Adams's Reviews
Dr. Adams is the most pleasant, caring and compassionate doctor I have ever met. I highly recommend him. My whole family sees him. He also makes sure you see the best specialists if you need one. I have no problem putting my life in his hands.
His speed and lack of concern might cost me a job offer. Dealt with back pain from my time in the Marine corps for years but he thinks because of that and the medicine I have been prescribed for 3 years means i shouldnt lift more than 20lbs. Hes never seen me before never seen any xrays has no physical evidence to prove his reasoning. The worst experience of a physical Ive ever had. He speaks so fast and expects you to be able to move and comprehend at his pace while hes being the rudest doctor I have had in years.
Not Dr. Adams fault, His office booked and appointment with a Specialist in Bowling Green, 25 miles (one way). Schedule asks to be 15 minutes early for a 1:00 PM appointment. Only problem, Specialist's Office closed for lunch until 1:30 PM. 50 miles for nothing.
Been going to this office since I was about 16 and I will not go anywhere else. I trust Dr Adams and Tara & Elizabeth...when They tell me something I believe them and let them do what needs to be done...Their All Good at this Office..Never Had an Issue...I Don’t Know Where These Bad Reviews Came From, It Couldn’t Have Been On Dr Adams Office I’ve Never Heard of Any This Happening
We have been patients of Dr Adams, Tara Perdue ,APRN, and Elizabeth Walkup, APRN, for 13 years They and their office and medical staff are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our entire family relies on them for our healthcare. There is never a problem scheduling an appointment or receiving excellent care
I was visiting from out of town and was having tightness in my chest and a severe cough. Dr Adams was extremely thorough in his diagnosis process and very competent and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this practice.
Dr. Adams is very respectful and caring. He gets through the exam quickly, but this is not a bad thing: he focuses on the patient and his/her symptoms and deals with the problems only. I don't usually trust medical professionals who are not attached to a teaching hospital and who do research, but Dr Adams and his staff are knowledgeable and willing to learn. I like that.
This is a VERY busy practice so the personnel often seem rushed and the waiting rooms is often quite full.Dr. Adams does teach/mentor medical students but he is not a faculty member of a teaching hospital. He doesn't do research so one has to wonder if he is always up-to-date on the most current knowledge in the field. However, the staff seem to be competent and are helpful.
There rude they don't want you to see the dr unless u pay on your bill I'm on a fix income and don't have enough to pay on it ,I've got Wageworks and it's suppose to pay office visit which it does but they claim they don't know how to use it. I need to see the dr but don't have the money to pay on it I pay my bills if I have money left but I don't have the money at the time. They just want to be rude . I thought when you have to see the dr they would see you in matter if you got the money or not to pay what you owe . They need to change cause there's alot of people who are on a fix income. They are plain rude .
12 years ago Dr. Adams saved my wife's life. At the time when good old Vanderbilt said my wife's chest pain were all in her head. B.S. Dr. Adams sent my wife to Louisville where she had open heart surgery at 20 years old. All I can say is thank you Dr. Adams if you took wellcare I would come back to you. Was a great Doctor in 2005 and not an arrogant p.o.s.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
