Very Very Thorough~~refreshing!!

I *was* a patient of Dr. Turner for nearly 2 years. I spoke high praises of him and recommended him every chance I could. That is..Until I got a call yesterday he dropped me (what kind of provider refuses to see a patient is beyond me) as a patient because I had to reschedule my appointment due to my job. I truthfully admit that I lost my cool on the phone with his nurse because such a phone call with ZERO warning prior, is a bit shell shocking. Especially in my case because I had to reschedule repeated appointments I made during an unusual phase I was experiencing that is now known to be a case of hydrocephalus due to my Chiari malformation (that he was aware of) I could not wake up or be woken up during this time period due to the issue happening. I am currently set to see a neurosurgeon in Lexington in July to get things straightened out due to that. Rescheduling those appointments was beyond my control. But he wouldn’t know that because I was never able to get into the office to see him due to him leaving for vacation around the time I was having these issues. Another issue I was going to see him about (providing he didn’t drop me as a patient before my rescheduled July 1st appointment) was to have testing done for cancer susceptibility. He treated my grandmother for years. Diagnosed her with cancer in February 2022 and she died in May 2022. He was aware of the abundant history of cancer in my family (my grandmother’s death would make 10+). He was aware of the pre cancerous findings of the hysterectomy I had in 2021. And to top the cancer issue off, my mother has just found out she has a precancerous mass in her breast after having a precancerous polyp removed from her rectum in April. But, he wouldn’t know that either because he dropped me as a patient before I could make it into the office. Be forewarned. If you have intricate issues that are beyond your control while having a life with FOUR children. I would look elsewhere. Because he lacks compassion and understanding in these cases.
