Went to see this doctor about a stomach issue that I have had for many years. Instead of discussing my issue he spent an hour telling me I was fat and how many ways I would or could die. I left his office in tears feeling humiliated and degraded. Would NOT recommend this guy.

The care, service, and results are the highest level possible. Always very professional, thorough, and had an excellent "bedside manner. “Indeed, the most treasured of the Doctor I have been privileged to meet. Dr. Uday Shankar treated me as if I was a family member during all my meetings with him, before Surgery, and after. The surgery was undoubtedly successful, and the results were as described. If he weren't specialized, I'd see him for everything!” Most importantly is the after care ,18 months after the surgery I can still reach him should I need any advice/ Process through a WhatsApp support group facilitated by him and a few pioneers . Do I recommend him … Well you know the answer , Absolutely yes!! without a blink of an eye

He was the worse and rudest doctor I’ve ever been to. I’ve been sick for over two months and he never gave me a chance to even tell him what my symptoms have been, he cared more about me getting a covid test over a low grade fever than he did about any stomach issues I was having, I’ve been to other doctors and they didn’t see the need in a covid test. People in the waiting room could hear him yelling at me that I had covid and needed tested for Hep-C all because I have a tattoo on my arm, that I disclosed was four years old. I would definitely not recommend!

Only problem is length of time in obtaining an appointment, but he is the only gastroenterologist in town.

Dr Shankar and the operating room Staff i give a ten they treated me so good everyone of them thank you so much I would definitely recommend you to anyone ! The nursing staff and everyone involved were so nice Thank you so much !

Dr. Shankar is a great doctor! He really cares about his patients and will do anything and everything he can to help them. He does stay really busy, but I think that just shows what a good doctor he is even more! I would recommend him to anyone!!
