Best doctor ever when it comes to my anxiety and panic disorder. Always makes sure I am ok

Not a patient called and asked. Said I needed a referral. I called and they told them within 30 minutes later they won't accept me. I do admit I missed a previous appointment so to panic disorder not yet diagnosed. They do not consider a person's mental health apparently and that's what they advertise in. I was diagnosed up north with panic disorder PTSD 7 different things. You can't get help from them.

Dr. Silva is an excellent psychiatrist and he really cares for his patients. Thank you Dr. Silva. His new office at the Owensboro Health is beautiful but still the staff is not good, I mean there's some of them that ruin the whole group. I worked with customer service before if you don't like ask to be transferred to another area where you don't have to work with people bc a couple of bad staff is ruining the whole experience. I gave 1 more star bc of the clinic in general is beautiful & clean. The doctors are good to great but they need to have better customer service. P.S. the phone is never answered, you can not talk to a person and they are really bad about calling back.

The absolute worst office I have ever been to. Been a patient of Silva's for over ten years. Not once during that time have I been able to get my medicine refilled (a controlled substance) without a minimum 3-day gap. With their latest transition, I have now been out of my medicine for a month and still can't get it filled. There is no concern for the wellbeing of patients. When I do get to sit with Silva he pretty much just listens to what Adderall I want but is closed off to any suggestions of any other kind of medication. A glorified pill-mill that can't even churn out pills on time. Only use this office if you have no other choice.

Incompetent doesn't even begin to describe them. It clearly states you can't abruptly stop these medications suddenly due to health risks. It's been more than 4 days since the medication was due and they still haven't gotten to it. The front desk literally said if he gets to it today he does if not then tomorrow. Don't put your mental health or welfare in their hands. If they can't even get your meds on time what good can they possibly do elsewhere. No wonder suicide rates are so high. Malpractice soon.

Never can get a fast appointment. Everytime I go n Dr. Sylva had no idea who I am what meds I take nor will he listen to anything I say. I need off effexor but he raised me to max dose. Now I can't go 2days without feeling it and seizure very often now. It use to be very rare. I'm putting my foot down this next vist and if I'm still ignored and he won't even take time to read my charts but only glances and guesses. Well ill change docs and file a complaint on him. As much as I need to do. I heard he was better doctor when he was younger. Maybe he needs to retire really. Before he hurts someone or cause iriversable damage to them with these meds he just throws around like a Waco scientist that thinks were just lab rats

Finally got ahold of you you lied to me about telling my grandfather to tell me to make an appointment so when i did trying you screaming at me and hung on me so i couldnt make a appointment you are not a good professional at this location. Very unprofessional!!!

Dr Silva is wonderful, a very nice man. However, the staff is absolutely terrible. Im writing this as I am sitting in my car right now in their parking lot waiting on ANOTHER problem to be taken care of. It takes a lot for me to write a review and let me tell you...wow.... this has been a long time coming. I'm in the process of switching Dr's currently. Nothing against Dr. Silva, he is wonderful... the staff has been absolutely terrible nearly every time that I have had the misfortune of dealing with them. If you need a PA or medical record released.... you have to STAY on them for it to get done in a timely manner. I cannot tell you how many times I have went out of my way to make absolutely CERTAIN that everything is in order so that when I get there, it should be smooth sailing. Yet that is never the case. Not one or two times.... EVERYTIME. Everything about the office women just screams LAZY. I may be wrong but there have been multiple times when it seems they have went out of their way to frustrate me or to be difficult and think it's funny. It is very unprofessional. They are closed MUltiplE times during the year without any sort of automated text or call system to make patients aware of this. If you are out of your medicine during this time... GOOD LUCK. The answering service is a joke. I have got through many times.... however there have been just as many (not exaggerating) times in which I have called the.answering service and it sounds as if someone is answering yet not saying anything. Literally... setting the phone off of its hook. I have called and let it ring for a long time and then someone picks up and quickly disconnects. This is not just once... but many times. I want to scream... I know that there are many drug seekers who go to doctors offices... yet not EVERYONE is a drug seeker. It makes me very angry to be treated so poorly and feel as if everytime I walk through the door looks are exchanged like... "here is this difficult woman again." I am not a difficult woman... I am a woman that expects for you to get off ur butt and do your job! I looked up reviews to see how bad it was. And every single piece of this review literally the whole thing. I couldn’t agree more. Been going to his office for a very long time now. I’ve been trying to get them to do my pa for over a week now. They keep sending the wrong paperwork. I tried to tell them. They got mad and told me I was wrong. When I insisted they hung up on me. And now won’t take my calls. I’ve had my insurance company leave the office messages asking to fix their clerical error. But that was days ago now. The staff is savage.

I have been seeing Dr. Silva for many years and I highly recommend him. Dr. Silva is very compassionate, understanding and he truly listens and cares about his patients. The staff is always friendly and makes me feel welcome.
