Thank goodness the nurse practitioner listened when my son said he was having chest pain instead of just assuming it was related to his strep throat. She ordered an EKG and immediately sent us to the ER. She called ahead and let them know we were on the way. My son ended up with pericarditis, an enlarged heart & fluid buildup around his heart. THANK YOU!!
