Visit went fine, however, the doctor/office improperly coded my visit for insurance purposes and sent in the wrong lab tests. I ended up having to spend about 4 hours on the phone speaking with my insurance and Baptist Health representatives to remove the $600+ I was being charged (which should have been covered by insurance) and ultimately paid $30 more than I should have (figured it wasn't worth the hassle to get that fixed). I cannot recommend Holestol or Baptist Health to anyone

I was hesitant to change doctors after moving to Lexington from London, KY. It wasn't until my PCP passed away in 2021 that I had to find someone new. Thank God for Dr. Holestol! He really takes the time to listen to your concerns and does not judge you. So thankful I found him!

Looked for a new primary care physician and just had a 2nd visit with Dr. Holestol. He is very thorough and very personable. I am glad to have found a personal physician like him and his staff.

Had a very nice check up with Dr Holestol. My first time seeing a doctor in at least a decade. Pleasant and highly professional, prompt with lab results, willing to listen, and very easy to receive advice from.

Dr Bjorn Holestol is Friendly, Patient, Efficient, Caring Dr Bjorn Holestol is great! He was very thorough in discovering my history and symptoms and had the best attitude. He was patient and took his time to listened carefully; responding with smart medical acumen as needed. Best bedside manner of any doctor I have known. I did not have to wait but 5 mins before seeing Dr. Holestol. His PA Michelle was delightful and thorough in her pre-prep. I am thrilled to be under his care. In fact, I am so impressed with the entire Baptist Health medical team. Both Dr Holestol and Baptist Health were fast in their follow-up on setting appointments. Their method of reporting visit details is superb; they use the latest in online technology.

I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Holestol. He listens to you and actually takes time with you, which has been a night and day difference since I switched from Lexington Clinic. Incredibly talented and knowledgeable physician, precisely the kind of person you want to entrust your care to.
