List of Cindy E Atkins Md's Reviews
I absolutely love Dr. Atkins! I refer everyone who is looking. All of these people leaving bad reviews obviously want someone to baby them, and treat them like children. Cindy is straight forward and will talk to you like an older sibling. She is incredibly smart.
I was close to dying due to their services. DO NOT GO THERE! Every time I came in they wanted to prescribe me with things I did not need that later on caused damages to my health. Doctor/nurses never remembered any previous tests or findings and were prescribing me things that were harming my body and health. On top of not checking in or doing follow up tests after prescribing me these new meds to check on my health progress. Luckily I have a new provider that was able to catch these problems on time.
She was the doctor on call Dr. Atkins,my regular doctor was in and I was directed to her for her to help me and she refused she’s not a good doctor and she was a very rude person
Dr Atkins is very persistent. After years of being told i was "depressed" from being tired all the time, she ran test and with in 2 months found thyroid cancer.. She is very personable and very responsive to concerns. I would recommend her a million times over. For my husband to go to the doctor is like telling a wall to move, but with her he does not mind going. She has a heart for what she does and it shows. We love her!!
I’m a new patient moving from Ohio. She is a good Dr! She listened and I felt heard and she recommended course of action and gave entered all information into computer for records to be up to date.
I've been going to Dr. Atkins for years and have always had a great experience. She is very thorough, takes time to listen to me and answer my questions, and is very down to earth which makes me feel comfortable talking with her. I never feel like she's rushing to get to the next patient and she makes sure I get the most out of my visit. She also seems very no-nonsense. Like another reviewer said, she's very concise. I'm bewildered by the negative reviews because I've always thought I'm lucky to have found such a wonderful physician. She's amazing. I would highly recommend her if you're looking for a primary care physician in Lexington.
Not sure where the negative reviews come from because I've had two very positive experiences with Dr. Atkins. She was very nice, listened to me and made recommendations as you expect your PCP to do. She is a PCP not a shrink lol
I let her practice in tears. I agree with the others reviews "She is rude and verbally abusive". You don't go to the university to learn how to treat people with respect, your family should raised and taught how to treat others persons. I blame your parents and you for that. You are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL.

One star is one too many. Spent more time with assistants than her. Then got referred to others. Told her about wanting a primary female physician and sent to males. Never touched me except to to take blood pressure and charged over $600.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
