Getting ready to have second cataract removed this week. First one was 5 months ago and all went well. I was very afraid as I DO NOT like my eyes touched but all in all, it went better than expected. Hoping for a great outcome this time as well. Staff did all they could do to console me and I appreciated their patience.

Dr. Wortz and the staff at Commonwealth Eye Surgery took excellent care of my father. He had cataract surgery in both eyes. My father's vision went from barely seeing distance objects to 20/20! It's the first time he's never worn glasses! Occasionally my dad will put on readers but that's rare. I am extremely impressed with the doctor's bedside manners and attention to detail. Commonwealth Eye Surgery is the only place to go for cataract surgery in Kentucky.

Dr Wortz is no longer with the practice he was with when he did cataract surgery on my husband. He never saw him again after the procedure. Another practice took care of him and had to have another procedure to correct the problem.

I want to brag on the nursing staff and how comfortable they made me feel before my cataract surgery. I felt very comfortable and care for from the office staff, to nursing staff, to my surgeon. Even the young man who wheeled me out to my vehicle that day, made me feel cared for. I would recommend to anyone.

Have to admit that I was hesitant to try new specialist but trusted that Commonwealth would only include the best on their team. Dr. Worth was amazing!!! Extremely professional and puts patients at ease; he handled my procedures in a wonderfully efficient, comfortable and capable manner. I appreciated knowing why directions were important- not just getting a list to follow. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed perfect vision! Would highly recommend. Susan M.

Dr. Wortz performed my LASIK surgery to correct my -4.25 vision w/ astigmatism. He did a fantastic job. My optometrist says it was the best LASIK surgery he has ever seen! And the workup performed by the Commonwealth staff was top notch. Couldn't recommend enough!
