Absolutely amazing surgeon! He is compassionate towards his patients, knowledgeable, and extremely driven to succeed with each patient. When I had my post op for my bilateral mastectomy, I could tell that he was just as excited as I was that we were finally able to get everything out of there! I am so glad I chose to stay with St. Joe East Breast Center for my care, and I will be forever grateful that he was my surgeon!

Dr. Strifling did my lumpectomy in 2017. He is a wonderful Dr. and I wouldn't trust anyone else. He is a 10 out of 10 for sure!!!!!

I just had a small mass removed from my breast. Dr. Strifling was very patient, attentive, and kind. I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery. I've had no pain and my wound is healing nicely.

Out of the blue, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had three pages of typed questions for Dr. Strifling. He Answered. Every. One. Of. Them. - even the ones that were related to the oncologist or radiologist. Every visit he takes his time with me, reassures me, explains, and answers questions. The surgery was uneventful, the scar minimal, and follow-up is on-going. He's personable, calm, and thoughtful. Highly recommend Dr. Strifling.

Dr. Strifling is phenonmenal. He provides very thorough explanations of the diagnosis and he has a terrific bed-side manner, pre-op and post op. His willingness to address questions or concerns is very authentic. He provides lots of information and realities of surgical outcomes. Always erring on caution, follow up appointments continued until I, myself, was confident with my status. His encouragment and optimism meant everything. Together we had amazing results and I couldn't be happier.

I was late to the appointment and they saw me anyway. Very personable, kind and attentive. Conversed about removal of gallbladder on Monday, removed it on Wednesday. So far, no residual pain. I want to ask myself, did he really do anything because as soon as I came home I felt fine. I would recommend Dr. John R. Strifling to a friend. I am a seasoned nurse and I can tell you that team at St. Joseph East did not overlook anything, they were excellent.
