I appreciate the surgery service I was offered, but that’s it. For one of my appointments, the scheduling lady called me and TOLD ME SHE CHANGED MY APPOINTMENT TIME. I said okay, only because I happened to have the day off that day, and the place I did have WAS FILLED. For almost every appointment, I have mine later in the day to minimize lost hours at work. Before every appointment, they call me asking to reschedule earlier in the day. I say no. Except for the time above, when they just changed it. Adding to the above paragraph, each time they call, when I say no, the lady gets rude and says okay thank you then hangs up. That word no makes them really nasty and rude of the phone for some reason? Idk why, you let me schedule for this time what is the issue?? For my upcoming surgery, I was told to come in 2 hours early because they were open. I tell my manager I’m leaving work to do this earlier so I can rest more before the next Work day. He says okay. I go to the clinic, I’m sitting there UNTIL MY APPOINTMENT. Literally, why did they waste my time. I passively mentioned how much longer while being prepped, the nurse said the room I need to go in was not available until guess when? My scheduled appointment time. Why?? The worst part is the medical staff do not listen. I have an allergy to acetaminophen, documented by my doctor on my medical record. This record was transferred over to this clinic before my first appointment. When I filled out the initial paperwork, I noticed my allergy was listed, and ensured it was everywhere it was needed. I mentioned to the Dr this allergy, he acknowledged we won’t give you any of this. Fast forward to the actual date of surgery about a month later. The check in lady gives me paperwork, asks if I have any allergies, I say the usual acetaminophen. Cool, done. The nurse who brings me back asks the same question, I say the same thing again, not batting an eye. Surely they can see my medical record and can hear me. The next nurse who inserts an IV asks me about allergies. When I told her I do, she was surprised (wtf, this chart is in front of you) and said thank you for telling me I’m going to notify the surgical staff. I’m getting concerned at this point, but trust her. I go to the room for surgery, the IV pain lady states what pain reliever she is going to put in my IV for the minutes after surgery. Do you know what she says she was about to put in my system? YEAH. I nearly freaked out and said I cannot have this, it’s in my charts, I’ve told so many people now. She apologizes, says thank you for letting us know and she said she put in extra ibuprofen instead. Post surgery, I wake up. I feel better! I get my prescription from the doctor. You know what it is. It was for oxycontin and ACETAMINOPHEN under the brand name Percocet. If I never googled this drug before picking it up at my pharmacy, would have the pharmacist caught it? Would I have taken it?? This is very disturbing, the lack of caring. I called the doctor the next day. He stated that they do not do acetaminophen over IV there. Which makes me think... either someone is lying to cover their butt, or they just are that incompetent and don’t listen to the patient. He then steered the conversation, telling me to be careful about taking over the counter products, and look at labels. Well, you’re one to tell me of all people... I’ve been dealing with this since I was kid, i think I know that. My question is, did he know that, because all of the past events indicate no. I called a lawyer about medical malpractice. He stated because I didn’t actually take the medicine and experience a reaction, they could not assist and I couldn’t file a lawsuit. There is a slight chance I may be able to do something, sue for mental distress and havea record for the MD, but I declined because that would be money and time on something I have a slim chance on. So good thing I’m aware of my issue, because this place doesn’t care.

I'm grateful to Dr. Dvorak. Mom was in her eighties, and I think he questioned doing her surgery, but I'm glad he went through with it because this allowed Mom to continue going to the therapy pool for her arthritis for about four additional years and also allowed her to cut back on her pain meds. Mom lived about eight years after the surgery, dying last year. I always wanted Dr. Dvorak to know I appreciated his skill as a surgeon, so now everyone can know that his results lasted. I just had surgery yesterday and everything went wonderful. Dr. Dvorak and his team were very kind and helpful.

Amazing Physician. Very patient and caring. Extremely knowlegable. Staff is wonderful. Overall great experience.

Dr. Dvorak has performed two colonscopies on me. The second was done without anesthesia at my request. Being awake during the procedure made me understand the procedure and the findings. Dr. Dvorak explained what he was doing and what he was seeing. A great doctor.

Get a second opinion! I had major surgery using the robot and requiring several days in the hospital . The procedure could have been done utilizing a scope. He came HIGHLY recommended and I trusted his opinion at the consult. My post surgery questions were not taken seriously. At one appointment another doctor in this group wanted to give me a cortisone shot for pain!

Dr. Dvorak, saved me from wearing a ileostomy bag for the rest of my life. My colon died and made a J pouch from small intestine about 11 years ago. I'm doing good and appreciate God putting him in my life.

I love Dr. Dvorak, I had my large intestine removed and he made a J Pouch out of my small intestine. Instead of wearing a bag and I'm now free. That;s 10 years ago, and I'm doing great. I thank God for him everyday. I recommend, Dr Dvorak, if your having colon problems.
