I can't brag on Dr Hourigan enough! The care I received from and his staff before and after my ostomy reversal surgery was excellent. Definitely recommend him

Had fistulotomy four days later had extreme pain, called got asked hundred questions, then nurse calls back asks same questions made me out to be a liar and a drug addict. They never said well you can come back and we will look but did not offer and was told not to go to my local er. Here I can’t eat cause the pain is so bad. Told dr was out she would call me back on the 10th never did.

Dr Hourigan is the best! He fixed me up and no complications.

He is a fantastic and caring doctor and surgeon.

Pain got worse after three days of having a fistulotomy, called after hours talked to dr that upped my medicine and was tiold to call hourigans nurse and they would take care of me. I was asked a hundred questions by a receptionist and then nurse jenni calls back later and first thing she asked does the narcotics work I said yes. She tells me everything it could be other than surgery. Said dr is out of the office can’t write anything till next day until the dr comes back. Was suppose to call me back same day did not and still hasn’t called the second day. And never said come in let us look at it or anything just how I’m a drug addict. I mentioned going to pmc er and she said no need they won’t help. So I’m stuck hurting so I would not recommend on any level until they can be more compassionate with patients .

Never informed after surgeries rather clueless on what he did to my body it's not feeling good and they really don't give a crap end of story true story

I have to say Dr. Hourigan was and is an awesome doctor and surgeon. The night my husband was rushed to U.K. by ambulance we were blessed that God had Hourigan on call for Trauma that night. He did emergency surgery just to get my husband out of danger and then finished surgery the next day. We have been with him for 2 years now and I have to give him 5 stars at least cause there wasn't 10.

Dr. Hourigan recently performed my surgery for a sigmoid resection. I’m not out of the woods yet, but I couldn’t be happier with the care, advice, and education he has provided so far. This man knows his craft and I highly recommend him.

my common law wife of over 25 years was referred to Dr. Hourigan for a prolapsed rectum. Made appointment but nurse of his wanted us to get colonoscopic which we agreed to. so we go for colonoscopic a day before her appointment. He sees her during colonoscopic, states she needs to see lung and heart before he will do surgery on prolapsed rectum5cm asked for pain meds, gives 3 days worth of Tramadol. Asked Dr. for more pain said no he is surgeon not her doctor, he was doctor before surgeon pain

My husband was treated by him at Clark Regional in Winchester Ky. He was nice only the nurses had very bad beside manners. Although my husband does need to see him again.
