I have been her patient for over twenty years I love the care she has given to me and the compassion during the more difficult visits.

Always kind and caring, have been a patient for several years. Great Doctor in my opinion.

Dr. Henkel is one of the most caring doctors I have ever been to. I've been a patient for around 20 years and am hoping she never retires. She listens and takes as much time as you need despite her busy schedule. Dr. Henkel is honest with you and has a way of easing you into the hard topics.

She is great for the sniffles but will abandon you in a heartbeat if you have any serious issues. I am highly suspect of her capibilities as a physician and have become accutely aware of her complete lack of professionalism. She is a disgrace to medicine. My father had a stroke and after having seen her for a decade, she couldn't stay in the room for more than two minutes. Didn't even order a blood panel and pretty much said he needed to find another doctor. I have never held her in high esteem perhaps she feels guilty seeing that he explained symptoms to her for months before the stroke

I've been going to Dr. Henkel for years and it's just like going to visit an old friend. The only downside is she's so popular that the wait times can sometimes be long. But I know they are working to try and improve that.

I saw Doc Henkel on Jan 28. I found her to be pleasant and personable. She was very busy and fit me into her schedule. She answered my questions and provided for me the care I expected. Much better than the previous Nurse Practitioner I seen on two other occasions. The other appeared arrogant and aloof and didn't even correct me when I was calling her Dr. Yes, Mary Henkel was a busy lady, but I found her delightful and helpful.

I saw Dr. Henkel as a new patient on 11/04/19 and it was the worst experience I have EVER hate in a Dr. office. I haven't seen a doctor in several months due to be moving and since my move to Lexington, KY I have had A LOT of new issues. She told me that she could not address all of the issues in that visit and that I would have to reschedule to go over the other items. I have insurance that pays for my visit - she is going to get paid for whatever happens regardless - I paid my co-payment and she should allow the time with me. Once I explained to her that I was not happy about this, she seemed very flustered and hurried. She addressed 1 issue out of 7. And told me that she would not address one of them at all. What kind of doctor does that?!?! I scheduled a follow up visit for 2 weeks; however, if I go it will only be to see what my x-ray says. I have already scheduled a new patient appt with another doctor. And I will not referred anyone to this lady. I can't even call her a doctor!!

Dr. Mary Henkel has been compassionate and caring every time I have seen her. She has given me all the time I needed and always asked if there was anything else I was concerned about. She is an excellent doctor.
