Uk Healthcare's Online Review Report Card

The fact that while my daughter was having an asthma episode and required an ED visit was bad enough. The fact that a bunch of UK employees were smoking right outside of the Chandler entrance and all down the sidewalk to the pediatric ER, where there are dozens of no smoking signs, was even worse. What was even worse is the entrance to the inside hallway that would take us to the ED was closed. So while my daughter was having an asthma attack, she had to be subjected to UK employees in scrubs smoking and vaping, which is a major trigger for her asthma. That makes UK liable if something worse had happened to my daughter or another patient. It needs to stop. Enforcement, fines, a smoking zone away from patient entrances, etc. UK employees prioritized their own desire to smoke over my daughter's health.

Avoid UK GreedCare, and any business associated with them. They are all about money, and absolutely nothing else. Any other healthcare system I've ever dealt with understands that poor people, the elderly, etc. cannot pay our current medical system's obscene, greed driven prices, and often accepts what insurance pays. Not UK. They will sue even the poorest patients for everything they have, just so they can continue to pay their doctors, administrators, etc, their fat six and seven figure salaries. In fact, a class action lawsuit is in the works, because they use our state government's Department of Revenue as a collection agency. No one else does that. It's despicable. Need more proof? Ask their employees what they have to pay, just to park - it's hundreds a year, and even then, they are not guaranteed a parking spot. Want to visit someone in UK hospital. You'll pay to park, too!!! Yes, really. They are just that greedy. To make matters worse, nine hour waits are typical in UK's emergency department, and rude, hateful, lazy, vindictive nurses are the norm. And don't be surprised when they park you on a gurney out in the hallway. Seriously go anywhere else, and when you do, make sure whomever you go to knows not to send you to UK if there is an emergency, under any circumstance. Make sure this is noted on your chart...

Amazing system! I absolutely love working here! The service they provide is in-depth and top quality. We often visit the peds on maxwell location and the twilight clinic for our 8 month old. The twilight location is great for kiddos after hours.

I recently had a total hip replacement and when I woke up in recovery my anastegoligist wouldn't even give me pain meds. She just made me sit there for 20 minutes and later give me pain meds remind you a THR is a serious and painful surgery. Afterwards I sat in recovery for at least 6 hours before getting a room on the 4th floor. Where the day nurses I was given didn't even know what they were doing at all. But the night nurses were a bit more helpful.
