Dr Slayden at the Leesgate office helped me with an eye issue 11/2/22 and resolved it in one visit (Chalazion on eyelid) and the staff was very kind and efficient. (I had a serious vision issue and eye lesion 1.5 years ago and was also treated professionally and with great compassion at that time too, though the treatment was quite a bit more rigorous and lengthier course of drops etc at that time); this experience is just so reassuring that they are top notch eye providers!

The slowest doctor's office I have ever seen. Routinely wait over an hour. Regardless of how good the doctors may be, waiting an hour or more isn't worth it.

I live in Florida and I just received a SPAM email from Dr. Rowland encouraging me to become her patient. Why would a legitimate doctor need to send SPAM emails and why send one to Florida when your office is in Kentucky?

I didn't visit Dr. Rowland because I live in Florida and she is in Kentucky. However, that didn't stop her from sending SPAM emails trying to solicit my business. Why would a legitimate doctor need to send SPAM emails trying to entice new patients and why send them to someone who lives a thousand miles away from your office?

Awful. Arrogant. Said she would call in medication. Nope, never did. I wanted to see if I had TED because my dry eyes were off the chart. She said, “well I don’t usually see patients with dry eye. Well, apparently she’s too important for that. Never brought up TED. Never got medication. Will never see her again so that’s good.

I can’t give less than 5 stars cz all the doctors are very nice and respectful but yesterday what I have seen when my mom was having the cataract surgery was different. There was a black dude who told me he was anesthesia tech came in and just started being rude and disrespectful. I could tell his name on here but he had no badge , no name on his scrab ( uniform) could not tell what his job was . So this was kind of different from what I know from bennet and bloom eye care centers. I go there very often with my mom cz these doctors are very nice doctors

Dr. Sedlock is wonderful! She’s very detailed and listens so that we can move to have the best outcome for the surgery. Dr. Tenkman is the one to go to for cornea transplant. He’s amazing and gifted!!!
