Brightview Louisville Addiction Treatment Center's Online Review Report Card

They told me I was ‘good to go’ with my insurance. I went there for a couple months, had received a few bills and was getting around to paying them. Called because when I went to pay I noticed that there was no amount my insurance had covered. After two months they tell me my insurance actually doesn’t cover services there and now I got a bill for $3,144.00 well after being discharged. I do not feel like this was a misunderstanding. I feel like they fraudulently and intentionally lied to me. Do NOT believe a word they tell you. Check with your insurance yourself- do not make the same mistake as I did by blindly trusting crooks with certifications in front of their names.

I appreciate this place so much, because of them I can say I’m 5 months clean, sober, and HAPPY! Back to living a normal life and I can be the best mother I can be. Brightview helped give me get my life back and I can’t be anymore thankful.

I love working for BrightView! We are a comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment center that offers wrap around services including counseling to treat the whole person. Our team is committed to meeting each patient where they are to help them with their recovery. Everyone is welcomed with a warm smile and caring heart ❤️. We have an online portal and 24/7 patient access center to schedule appointments. We also offer walk-in appointments until 3pm. Our patients see a medical provider and a clinician on day 1 so they can start feeling better.

This place is such a headache. I would NOT recommend! I was referred here a couple of years ago and since then I've had 5 different doctors...I was not notified about this any of the times and only found out once I had an appointment. Even then, no explanation was given and it was not even addressed. They just acted like nothing had happened. Right now I don't even know who my doctor is.I guess this site changed from Renew Recovery to Bright View?? Again, no notification was given at all. One day I went to call the Louisville office and instead of getting to speak directly to them, it was just a third party call center/answering service and I was told that the Louisville site no longer had a direct phone number to call. Now I can only give a message to the operator and they "pass it on" to the Louisville office. I don't know if they don't really relay the message or if the office staff in Louisville does not check them, but the messages are never received and I get no contact back at all, even regarding urgent matters.Today I called for the THIRD time to ask for medication refills and was told only that my request had been sent. They did not care that I am completely out of my medications. I used to be able to get on the website and chat with a live person, but this is no longer an option either. I have tried two different times to do this and each time waited for a response for over an hour and no one ever answered my chat. I have also sent several messages through the website requesting appoints/callbacks/refills and no one has ever contacted me back about any of them.Since I am unable to get my medications, I'm going to have to hunt for a new doctor. Don't waste your time with this place.

The counselors are great, and very understanding. Just be prepared to have your medication pulled at any time with no explanation for multiple days until i had to call numerous times. Patients are punished due to poor psychiatrist hiring practices...good luck!

Currently at 2.2 years here. This place saved my life and my marriage. Great therapists and Drs. Though doctors come and go (on 3rd Main Dr) but that's to be expected with how well they do their jobs. My therapist has number I can reach him at 24/7, and has always answered (Shawn!) That has helped with my Anxiety, PTSD, and Depression along with treating a former opiate addiction.Would NOT go anywhere else in Louisville if recommending a recovery center.
