Dr. Becker treated my husband with complications from a stroke. He was friendly and professional. He genuinely cared about my husband and provided a great care for him.
Heed the poor reviews. I had a very bad experience.
would not go to this doctor fort anything . did a full std panel for the removal of kidney stones. check multiple tests for no reason just to charge my insurance. horrible horrible service. he is a crook please avoid at all cost. because it will cost you an arm and a leg no matter what. stay away from this doctor.
Very rushed, in a big hurry with me. I didnt have time to tell him half the things I needed to talk about. Quick exam and he was out the door. Never seen someone is as big of hurry.
I went to the ER after recurrent UTIs turned into a kidney infection. After the ER I was referred to First Urology. Dr.Becker performed kidney stone surgery after viewing an inconclusive CT scan from the ER. Kidney stones were never found (because my pain was likely from the infection). At my follow-up appointment, Dr.Becker was rude, dismissive of my still occurring UTI symptoms, and felt it was more important to tell me about himself than address any of my concerns. Would not recommend, find a different doctor. Left in tears.
Becker has one foot out the door the whole time he's talking to me. Clearly he'd rather be somewhere else. If it's kidneys he's your guy but anything else urological apparently he has no interest in it, at least he didn't with me.

If it's kidneys he's your guy but he has little interest or apparently expertise in little else urological because he gives quick, vague answers to questions about anything not kidney related.
Dr. Becker lied to me so that I would consent to having a procedure. He told me that he would be the one to perform the surgery, that he wasn’t as young as he looked, and that he had performed thousands of these procedures. I found out later that a resident Urologist, Dr. Thomas "T.J." Michael Fitzgibbon, had been involved and that I had been injured by the procedure.
I had an ap, but couldn't keep it this time I will

Dr. Becker is a genious, as far as I'm concerned .He was recommended by Dr. Terrance Blackford, and if people want to complain about his brief encounters, mishaps, or staff, he is not God, but his credentials speak for the person. I am blessed. The two doctors freed me of nearly 2 decades of pain, and saved my life.
I switched to Dr. Becker from another urologist at First Urology and was worried because of his negative ratings. He was very friendly and explained things to me about my condition and tests that the other Urologist never did. He seems to genuinely care about his patients. Great experience so far!

DR. BECKER FOUND CANCER ON MY LEFT KIDNEY, HE LET ME KNOW THAT HE COULD SUCCEED IN REMOVING IT, I SEE HIM EVERY SIX MONTHS NOW HE IS SO GREAT ?? ??????
He has a very standoffish attitude with patients. You cannot get in touch with the office. I waited over 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone. I would not recommend anything about the doctor or the office.
Very rude during follow-up after surgery which did not yield the promised results. He blamed scare tissue in urethra for problems He made the scar tissues in a part not near the surgery. Blamed me for the problem which I did not have before surgery.
My Husband was diagnosed with Protate Cancer. As a Travel Nurse assigned to Duke Hospital for 5 months, rather than wait to start treatment in the Fall, decision made to have cancer treated at Duke. Dr. Becker's office staff is extremely hard to reach. My Husband needs paperwork faxed to Duke. You receive options that require you to leave voicemail. Office needs to be more responsive.
Dr Becker is not someone to go to if you have anything wrong other than an infection and to be truthful, not sure he would even know what to do besides look in a medical book. After 6 months of pain, finally went to my family dr about the problem and after he examined me, sent me right to get an MRI. After images from the MRI came back and showed fluid around testicles, referred me to Aaron Becker. After first visiit, did urine Sample and treated me for an infection which I knew I didn’t have because my family Dr already checked for that. I have been in excruciating pain from abdomen running down to thighs. So bad around my swollen testicles that can’t wear jeans or tight pants and underwear. He noticed a few things that didn’t look right but i insisted we would try and antibiotics for 2 weeks. Well, pain never diminished , missed several days of work because in to bad of pain and couldn’t even stand. On my follow up, I was hurting so bad and drove an hour to see him. He came in the room and asked how I was doing, I explained how bad I was hurting and his exact words were” your urine sample came back and there wasn’t any bacteria in it at all so I want to see you back in 6 months. He won’t see me ever again as I would let him work on my granddaughters Ken barbie doll. He was in there for less than 30 seconds and didn’t care 1 bit about anything other than going to play Xbox. I have never experienced any dr like him. He’s very arrogant and doesn’t care about you. It’s by far the worst dr related experience that I have ever seen or witnessed. Going back to my family physician in the morning to refer me to a real, experienced Urologist
Orders unnessary tests rude and smug disregard for patient concerns
Smug, terrible bedside manner - doesn't take patients seriously or listen to concerns. Spent less than five minutes in the room with me then billed my insurance for unnecessary and UNAUTHORIZED lab tests totaling over $1000 dollars (in which I am now having to fight).
