I would not recommend Dr Medley to anyone I care about! I was referred to him by my Primary Care Physician and saw him for 5 years. He performed 2 prostate biopsies during that time as well as a Urolift! Scheduling was atrocious and offices visits were rushed with little to no explanation or discussion. My PSA just from 6 to 13.6 in one year which was a good indicator of prostate cancer. When he scheduled the 2nd biopsy he shrugged my high PSA off and gave me some half baked story about another patient. When the biopsy came back, I waited 3.5 hours beyond my scheduled appt. Receptionsit was not wearing a mask and the office was packed. He tossed the positive result to me and said you've got cancer you can do radiation, surgery or nothing! Then he could remember the oncologist's name to refer to me to. He only cares aboutwe volume and could not care less about you as a patient. His practice is a joke and he has no business being in practice! Find a REAL Urologist!
Very nice Dr.
Waited two hours after my scheduled appointment time to see Dr. Medley. For which I received a 5 minute consultation for an elective procedure which was denied. Not pro-patient.
Denied an elective procedure after a 5 minute consultation which was preceded by a 2 hour wait time.
A great doctor and man very professional would recommend him to anyone
Doctor Medley is a fantastic doctor, great bedside manner, fast, through, and always puts his patients first. Yes some times you can have a bit of a wait at his office but it is never beause he is just running behind or doesn’t want to come in. It is because he is such a wonderful person who puts the patients that need him the most first. When he is running late to the office it is because he is coming out of surgery from someone he added to the schedule usually last minute cause they needed help. And I know this by experience because I was a patient that he did have to add on to his last minute surgery’s one day. And to me having that much humanity makes him certainly worth the wait.
I’ve been in the doctors office for 2 hours. I’ve still not even seen the doctor.
I have been a patient of Dr. Medley for more than 20 years. I have had kidney stones twice and several urinary tract surgeries. D. Medley has always been professional, knowledgeable and thorough in sharing information with me and taking care of my health issues. He also has a great sense of humor and is the only doctor that I truly enjoy seeing. I would highly recommend Dr. Medley.
Had bladder sling 21 days ago. Amazing - no coughing, sneezing and peeing simultaneously!!! It's super!!! Well - so is Dr Medley and Stephanie Flaspoehler, APRN. Recommend them to anybody for any GU-related problems. Thank you so much. Cheryl S.
Great doctor 👍. Tells it straight. A bit of a joker.
Prescribed medication on first visit without first checking many other possible reasons for issues and even though had labs that showed an important issue . Feel this was completely disregarding patients long term health and was more a bandage. Won’t be back.
Dr. Medley is the best! He has a great personality and really cares about his patients.
Dr. Medley is wonderful. He treated my elderly dad who suffered with dementia, with compassion & kindness. He moved quickly to give my Dad relief from a painful ailment while reassuring & comforting him. Dr. Medley is the best!
Dr medley is awesome, great bedside manner. Well recommend him to anyone. Only downside is long wait even with appt. Took me almost the hours for a visit.
Incredible Doctor who helped save my husband from Cancer
I get kidney stones frequently and have a lot of experience with doctor offices in general. I’ve been one of Dr.Medley’s patients for years. Dr. Medley is by far one of the most compassionate doctors I have come across and the best urologist I have ever had. He cares about his patients and knows his stuff. Never been to his office without receiving prompt treatment and proper care. The office staff is also very kind and helpful.
Among other things, he ordered a test without advising me that it would cost $3000, wasn't proven to reduce the risk of death from cancer, and wasn't covered by insurance. He and his staff were utterly unapologetic.
Dr. Medley has treated me for Prostate Cancer and multiple kidney stones over a decade. His treatments have been effective. He is a very busy doctor, so explanations may be fast. When I do not understand, I ask questions until I do. Doctors deal with all levels of medical knowledge in patients, so we patients need to keep asking where we do not get it. Dr. Medley has never been impatient with my asking. He even diagrams details so I can refer to his drawing later.
There's not enough stars for this guy. He makes us feel like family and takes excellent care of our mom.
Dr. Medley's bedside manner is poor to say the least. His professionalism is zero of 10, and his sarcastic personality is not comforting during hard times. His only saving grace is his nurse practitioner, Stephanie.
