ID GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD DR BLACKFORD WITH FIRST UROLOGY HAS NO CLUE WHAT HES DOING HE JUST RUNS YOUR FOR YOUR MONEY. IF YOU WANT TO BE HELPED GO TO A DIFFERENT DOCTOR. FIRST UROLOGY IS THE BIGGEST JOKE OF A “DR OFFICE” IVE EVER BEEN TO.

Can't get past the telephone voicemail to leave messages. Can't get test results or call backs. Have even had other patient's mail sent to my home. Wonder if any of my results have gone to other patients. Thought medical records were private. Not good office management.

One of the best urologists you'll find. Sensible and inclusive decision making alongside years of experience and tried and true treatment plans that work exceptionally well. Dr. Blackford is kind and compassionate and educates patients so that they can make their own healthcare decisions with his guidance. Dr. Blackford is a cherished asset to the Louisville healthcare community.

He's by far the worst doctor I have ever seen. I wouldn't go to him for care if someone paid me to.

Has been my urologist for several years. I wouldn't see anyone else! He diagnosed a problem no one else had mentioned after many years of searching for an answer with other physicians. Very personable.

What a nice guy. This Dr didn’t make me feel rushed, he was companionate, and had a great since of humor. He not only is a great doctor, but I could easily be his friend.

I waited 2 hours to see Dr. Blackford but he could only spare less that 5 minutes for me. He asked me two questions and told me I needed another test. He then rushed me out of the office because he had another location to visit. His office staff were the rudest staff I have ever dealt with. They were too busy playing on their cell phones to direct me from one location to the next in their office. Very rude when they spoke to me. I cancelled my follow up appointment, no way I would every go to him again.

Dr. Blackford is a one of a kind Physician who works with compassion and puts patient's needs well above his own preferences. Great bedside manner. Always helps reassure patient and give the expected outcome of procedure. Very thoughtful, will give you options for patient to make a decision in which procedure is best. He has treated many of my family as well as myself, I would wait just to have him to care for me over other Dr's in practice, although others have treated me when they were on call. His main concern is for the patient. I've never waited more than 45 minutes and that's with being a last minute work in. The staff at St. Marys and Audabon are friendly and make you feel comfortable. RN Kristi is very kind a knowledgeable, great addition to his practice. Dr. Blackford is a one of a kind doctor. Even staff at Surburbon Hospital has told me that he is the top Urologists in KY and Indiana, but I already knew that. I feel confident about the procedure or not all over health when he is in charge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr Blackford is a rare gem. He has a great bedside manner, shows compassion and always puts the patients need well above his own. He took care of my Mother, and now me. It's not easy to find MD's that truely cares. He continues to treat me and my family with much care and compassion.

Dr Blackford is awesome Doctor. I would highly recommend him. He is the best. We only go to doctor Blackford because he is so awesome.But.... his office staff is awful. They really don't know what they are doing, they are rude, ask them a question they tell you were the doctor is but don't know how to contact him. DO NOT TRUST THE STAFF They don't follow through with they say they will and tell you some off the wall answer.
