Dr. McKay was very friendly but I felt that he avoided my questions about whether the surgery was necessary at this time or if waiting could be detrimental to my eyesight. His answer was vague and in retrospect has made me question the surgery. Also he and his staff mislead me to believe my out of pocket cost would be approximately $200 per eye. I was never told this would only cover the surgeon and that I should contact other sources for estimation of additional costs.

I have been treated by Dr. McKay on several occasions. He is delightful to talk to and always friendly. He really cares about you and your condition and tries very hard to resolve your eye problem. I highly recommend Dr. McKay.

From the moment I arrived at this practice, I felt welcomed, respected, and well cared for. All of the staff members I met were capable, courteous, friendly, and professional, and Dr. McKay was no exception. He was very thorough in describing the details of my condition, and explained all of my treatment options explicitly. He gave me plenty of time to ask questions and was very thorough in explaining the answers. I felt as though I was in very capable hands.

Dr. McKay was very personable and professional. It is not mentioned on this site but Dr. McKay also has office hours at Bennett & Bloom Jeffersonville, IN.

Dr McKay and the entire staff gave me excellent care and all are excellent in their expertise. Dr McKay did an excellent job and took the time to fully explain to me about my cataracts and showed me why I was not a candidate for both far and near vision. I was overwhelmed at how much I had been missing in clearness and no longer need glasses for far vision. After my surgery I had a visit to Dr McKay the next day and the following week. So seldom do Doctor's personally check on a patient once they leave the office, Dr. McKay goes above and beyond to do that ! Personal phone calls are such a wonderful treat from a doctor, and that is extremely comforting to know some one cares that much! Thank you Dr. McKay for being such an exceptional doctor.
