Dr. Cyrus saved my life. He listened to what was important to me and helped me get to where I am today.
Dr. Cyrus was attentive and helpful. His help, not so much. Too bad he retired after my first visit with him!
Dr. Cyrus is a great & so is his nurse practitioner, Lisa Williams. I am sorry to hear he is no longer with this group. I do feel the office is understaffed. I think they overbooked him as he always said see you in 6 months but I’d walk to the desk to get an appt & the soonest that was available was 7 or 8 months away! I have been seeing him about 4 1/2 years.
Excellent Physician - Spends time with patient explaining various options for my clinical care. Very knowledgeable on latest trends and is personable.
Excellent
If the doctor is anything like the office staff, I am in trouble. A person can spend all day trying to get through on the phones. When I finally got through they had to call me the next week to schedule an appointment but forgot. So, I called in today and as the lady is yelling across the office asking who called me, miraculously, I get a call from the office. I didn't answer but was put on hold with the conversation I was currently having and the lady that just called got on the line and said "I called you, did you get my message?" Oh, you mean the one from two minutes ago because you heard the lady yelling. She played it off as if it was earlier and told me it's ok as if I messed something up. I can verify everyone's comments on the office staff are accurate.**frustrated** Day of appointment… this place doesn't even deserve to be open. I was on my way early to make sure I found the place. Unsuccessful, spend 45 minutes on the phone to have appointment canceled and get hung up on.

When I punched in the address it took me to the location but i guess it was incorrect. I was basically frantic running between buildings to try and find this place as I'm waiting on the phone for somebody to answer. When somebody from the office finally answers 45 minutes later they tell me I'm in the wrong place but don't give me directions. They just keep reiterating type it into my phone as I did and it was the wrong place. It was almost a mocking of sorts as I was asking for the building color as well as what type of a building and the employee on the phone couldn't even give me those details. He just kept saying it's a normal building. I asked for someone else to get on the phone and talk to me and this lady came on very rudely as I was rude and salty at this point and kept again telling me put it in my phone and then she hung up on me when I asked if I missed my appointment and she confirmed. Nobody at any point offered to reschedule which causes you to waste another 45 minutes calling back. I implore you to look anywhere but here. It is not worth a patient's time to sit on the phone to be talked to rudely.

I didn't even see the doctor because his office staff made it an easy decision for me to reach out to my surgeon to find an office who actually cared about me and my urgent needs. I have thyroid cancer, its pretty aggressive and my surgeon sent all of my history and pathology to Dr. Cyrus' office with URGENT on it. My surgeon also made a phone call to Dr. Cyrus' office to tell them my circumstances, tell them to be expecting my referral, and to tell them that I needed to be contacted with an appointment within a week of receiving my files. They took 2 weeks to call me and that was only because my surgeons office called them and gave it to them about not getting back to me within a few days of receiving my referral. They finally called me, however, after speaking to the lady who was "only there to help out the office staff", I felt like I didn't matter and that my case wasn't important to them. I cancelled my appointment after calling my surgeon back and requesting a different Endocrinologist. I am sad that Dr. Cyrus' seems to be a decent doctor but his office staff can't get organized enough to get patients in as requested by referral. If the office staff could get it together and not be weeks behind on paperwork or have better work ethic, I am sure this doctor would have better reviews on all medical professional review websites. Word of mouth in our city is a big deal and I guarantee that I will never give this office a positive word. My referring surgeon has also decided that she will never refer her patients to Dr. Cyrus again, she is livid with the lack of care and urgency that his staff displayed.Side note, the lady who called me to finally schedule my ridiculously far out appointment for my cancer treatment consultation said that she had no idea what I was talking about and that I needed an oncologist for my radioactive iodine treatment and proceeded to tell me about how her mother didn't receive her thyroid cancer treatment from and Endo and that she went to an oncologist. The whole experience just gave me a gut feeling to RUN and find another ENDO with staff who are aware of basic procedures and terminology in the office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
