I am an old band patient of Dr Allen from 2002 Just wanted to report in after 19 years i am doing great and have kept all my weight off within 10 pounds. So i just wanted to say hi to dr allen and.thank him for taking great care of me long ago.

I took a very close friend to Dr. Jeffery Allen for a consultation for removal of her lap band which is causing severe pain and complications. Ive been a nurse for 34 yrs and Allen was one of the most rude and arrogant surgeons Ive ever met. Allen refused to review recordsnotes from another specialist which state the device should be removed. Allen also did not examine her he acted as if just talking to her was a waste of his time. Allen did not hear listen to anything she was saying. At one point Allen offered to deflate the band this was after had already told him that she had all the fluid removed from the band a few months prior. She has done all she can for months seeking relief. Insisting that she wanted it removed Allen told her that a surgery scheduler would put her on the schedule for a different surgeon in the office to remove the device and he left the room. However the scheduler would not did not do that. She left the office in tears and is seeking an appointment at a different surgery office.

I was so LUCKY to have chosen Dr. Allen to do my gastric bypass surgery in July 2013 i met him at Norton weight loss center in Louisville ky and it was the best decision I ever made he was so kindcaring and COMPASSIONATE to my situation he didnt rush my appointment time with him. He told me that he would work his magic with my surgery but i also had to work at loosing the weight and i have and i weigh 100 pounds and havent gained any of my weight back he is a WISE Physician and he also flies his plane rescuing poor little dogs and cats all over the world i feel in LOVE with him then for sure.Thank you Dr. Allen you gave me my life back. Highly skilled Dr. Allen is always ready to answer questions and is admired by patients and medical staff alike for his professionalism yet friendly nature.I woyld highly recommend Dr. Allen for your Bariateic needs.

I would not recommend him to anyone. Takes no time to explain anything at all. Not a hands on doctor at all. Time spent in room with you is less than 3 minutes

Dr Jeffery Allen is a wonderful Dr I would highly recommend him to do any weight loss surgery that anyone needs him and his staff is wonderful to so if any of my friends or family should need weight loss surgery I would highly recommend him he done a wonderful job on my surgery.....
