MIchael Calobrace's Online Review Report Card

I cannot say enough about this doctor and his staff! The most AMAZING and talented surgeon in the business. Always a perfectionist and always takes time to listen to your concerns and address any and all questions. Dr. Calobrace has the most wonderful and knowledgeable nurses around! Mindi his scheduler is a doll! Always works with everyone to accommodate schedules. Be patient, if you have to wait awhile after your appointment time to be seen. Dr. Calobrace never rushes anyone and operates to exceed standard, not time. You will love the doc, the staff and the facility! I would never go anywhere else!

I was treated like nothing more than a number and needed revision surgery after a simple procedure. Long wait times every single appointment, and short, rushed conversations with the doctor. My concerns were brushed away or ignored altogether, and I was made to feel the complications of my BA surgery were my fault. Like other negative reviews, I imagine they will respond with blame or misinformation on the patient’s end as they accept no accountability. I personally know two other women who needed corrective surgeries, so I find the track record Dr. Calobrace brags about hard to believe. The consultation was the only appointment he spent more than 5 minutes with me, but strangely enough he spent most of that time talking about himself. To see confidence in a surgeon is appealing to some degree, but this was an odd level of arrogance. Among other things, Dr. Calobrace placed one of my breast implants way too low during an implant exchange. I voiced my concern immediately after surgery but was told time and time again it was fine. A year later, I underwent a $6k revision surgery with a different doctor who was absolutely amazing. He took one look at my before and after photos from Calobrace and said “wow, I’m so sorry”. Because my problems were present immediately, it’s clear it did not develop over time and was in fact the outcome of a surgical error. The wonderful experience with my new doctor is what prompted me to write this review. Dr. Calobrace has obviously gotten greedy and schedules more patients than he can realistically give appropriate attention to. His way too big ego won’t allow him to admit he may have made a mistake. I wish I had enough characters in this review to lay out the details of all the contradicting information I was given and the severely lacking communication within the office. Please consider another surgeon or be prepared to demand your fair share of time with the doctor. Write things down so there’s no confusion later and don’t let them make you feel like a burden for asking lots of questions.

Absolutely beautiful office, excellent staff and beyond pleased with my experience with Dr. Calobrece - as well as my results almost four months out!

After a bad experience with a different provider, Dr. Colebrace is a breath of fresh air. He will be very honest with you. I didn't feel rushed at all. Remember that if you go on a surgery day he may run late. His work is great and it takes time so may be a little late. I travel to the spa and Dr. C for treatments. Now I wouldn't think of going to anyone else!

My consultation with Dr. Calobrace was laid back and so comfortable. He was thorough in his questioning me to ensure he knew exactly what I was wanting. He listens and then provides different options to make sure his patients have all the knowledge they need to make an informed decision. I could just tell Dr. Calobrace was abundantly experienced and knew right away I wanted him to be my surgeon. He is in high demand so it does take time to get in to see him but it is well worth the wait.

It would be better if the website informs you that you will be required to pay $75.00 over the phone for a consultation in order to be put on the schedule irregardless of how many months you must wait. You also will not be given the opportunity to come for a earlier consultation if one should open up unless you pay $75.00 in advance.

Dr. Calobrace is very knowledgeable about the procedure I’m interested in & he’s well qualified & came highly recommended. I feel very comfortable in his care. Looking forward to surgery.
