Dr.Owusu is an amazing doctor and person! I’m happy she’s my doctor. The front desk is always so nice and respectful. My experience here has been a good one. I recommend! Another thing everything is fine with appointments, if you show up to your timely schedule. If not, than I see where one might be frustrated.
The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because my doctor was rather friendly. (Although she got too personal in conversation as far as my ethnicity. Also she assumed I don't eat healthy before I really got into detail answering her question regarding this. I don't have an unhealthy appearance so that is offensive. I am very mindful and knowledgeable about what I eat.) I was under the assumption that I would have a finger poke to get the blood for the cholesterol test. The lab tech however wanted to stick a needle in my arm apparently and draw who knows how much blood this way. I don't think so. Not for a simple cholesterol check. She said she didn't have the equipment to do it the finger poke way. What does that even mean?? I thought Middletown would be a little more professional than this. How disappointing. They would pass in the hallway and look at you with no smile and no greeting. I greeted the lab tech before she went into her room while we were waiting and she completely ignored me. Another worker walked by me while staring me in the eyes and said nothing. Very very rude staff. All I needed today was a cholesterol checkup. Didn't get it because of shady lab practice. At some point I did not even feel safe to have the lab tech handle my test. This is a scum location. Do not recommend.
Do not go to this place If you have any issues. It takes 5 weeks or longer to get in. Then they just called me today to cancel my appt for Tuesday. After I waited 5 weeks. They don’t care about patients I have congenital heart issues they never work me in or care when I express concern about waiting or having issues. Also staff is never friendly kind of rude actually
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Appointment has been rescheduled multiple times for a simple blood test and due to a 10 minute snafu with traffic, they refused to see me when the office was empty. Rude Dr. , even ruder staff. Would only recommend this place to my ex-wife and in-laws.
I have had nothing but great experiences with this office! Dr. Owusu is an amazing doctor and person!
My husband is a nurse and on the frontline treating people with COVID 19. He has a fever and a cough. We called 3 times today to get Dr. Tata to see him or just send the order for him to be able to get tested. We have heard nothing! Thank you for taking care of our healthcare workers Norton.
Had been prescribed a prescription for meloxicam previously by Dr Tata for arthritis in my shoulders. Prescription ran out and she wouldn’t refill it as if my arthritis went away. Also kind of discouraging when you go in and tell her about a problem and she searches for the answer on webMD. I could have done that. Nice person. Not a good dr. Will be looking elsewhere
Both myself and my daughter really like Dr Tata as a person but not as a doctor. She pushes staton drugs (when I have perfect cholesterol but just because I’m a type 1 diabetic), vaccines, and doesn’t seem to care about actually finding a true diagnosis or listening (just rushes out the door to allow for the next overbooked appointment).Twice for me she has just shrugged off a generic diagnosis and not found the actual issue or cause. As for my daughter, she went in this week sick (flu or strep like symptoms) and was never given a diagnosis or told she would need to take medication. When CVS called saying her prescription was ready is when she found out she would need to take medication to get rid of an ear infection. We have been very disappointed with this doctor but do love the norton healthcare chain and this office.
Dr. Tata is very good, but her office is VERY incompetent. My last office visit was on Aug 21 where I was prescribed a medication which required prior authorization. It took over a month and me intervening twice along with the insurance company to finally get that pre-authorization. Some of the staff was rude and kept suggesting OTC remedy (which I had been trying to years without relief). I might add none of this was for any controlled substances. My health has deteriorated in the past month because of not having proper medication for my ailment. This is really been the worst healthcare experience and makes you question the healthcare system we have..... Look in the response how they said they would contact me.... They never did
I am one of the newest patients of Dr. Tata at Norton CMA (Middletown). I couldn't be more happier to have her as my family doctor. She is very attentive, friendly and full of positive vibes!!! During my first visit with her, I truly felt as if we had known each other forever. I felt very comfortable discussing my health with her and concerns I had. I highly recommend her, she is fabulous!!! <3

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
