I am one of the few luckiest people that have Dr.James D. Jackson. He has been my doctor well over 12 yrs and I am truly BLESSED to have such a understanding, patient and caring Dr.

Dr. Jackson has remained my primary care physician for many years. He has shown extensive patient & medical experience plus exudes a friendly down-to-earth disposition. Communication skills are excellent, he listens, & genuinely cares. Consistently optimistic & always able to put one at ease when encountering potential health issues. His knowledge of drugs/medicines, interactions, effectiveness, latest updates/news is amazing and always on target. I am confident that perhaps thousands of patients have benefited (and even lives were saved) during his many years of practice from the medical care, insight, & wise guidance of Dr. James D Jackson.

In 5 years I Only saw Jackson in the exam room 3 times. I once put my foot down with him at a procedure and asked if I could see HIM at the next and not the nurse... he stated “If I AM NOT BUSY”. At Commonwealth Pain & Spine expect to see overworked ARPNs who dash around filling scripts. It is simply mass chaos. 90% of the time the nurse is tapping on a computer and when done with “the quiz” hits a button and sends refills already approved and rubber stamped to the pharmacy.

Dr. Jackson has seen me at every visit. He has helped me with my meds to the point I know that I am going to live longer. Other doctor had me on too many meds for the job. I feel better now. His staff is great.

Went to Commonweath Pain & Spine for year and half. Never once saw Dr. Jackson. Staff and nurses were very rude and uncaring and treated all patients like they were drug addicts. Maybe some were, but I was not, and didn't appreciate being treated like trash. Asked to see Dr. Jackson many times, but was always told he was too busy. I finally found another clinic, where the doctor actually sees me. I wouldn't wish that place or Dr Jackson on my worst enemy.
