List of Fast Pace Health Urgent Care's Reviews
Having had to travel from state to state due to a death in our family, I needed to find a place quickly to get a COVID test completed. During my travel from Indiana down to Kentucky, I tasked my husband with trying to find a facility that would complete a test. He looked up anywhere nears Mayslick (my destination). He, of course, found the emergency room at a local hospital but after calling, it was over $400.00 for the test and it wasn't even a rapid test. No thanks! We ended up finding Fast Pace Health Urgent Care of Maysville. I pulled in, opened the door and was immediately greeting by a lovely lady. I stated that I was traveling from Maryland, to Indiana, to Kentucky, and finally back home to Maryland due to a death in the family and that I need a COVID test completed. She immediately began informing me of the timeline for results and the amount for the test. She was upfront, professional, and very kind. I ended up paying exactly $190.00 for the test. Which was a sting knowing that there a re so many other places that are free but it didn't downplay the facility. Everyone and everything about the facility were clean, professional, orderly, and efficient. The ONLY possible complaint/concern I have was the wait. I believe there was only one doctor at the facility that day and I was literally the ONLY patient there. The receptionist mentioned to me that I was the only one there. It took about 30 minutes to process my information, take my payment, then to be seen by the doctor for the test. When I was escorted back to the room, I sat for about 15 more minutes without being seen then to have a nurse come in, take my blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, etc. Any other COVID test site does nothing of the sort. You drive up, show your ID, they swab you, you leave. I waited about another 15-20 minutes AFTER the nurse to get the actual COVID test which took all of 10 seconds. I was there over an hour for the test. Besides the large amount of time spent there (with no other patients at the facility), it was a pleasant, clean, and safe experience. Thank you for the COVID test and I hope I never have to visit again (in a good way). Thank you!
We went on a Sunday, they saw us promptly, and they checked in on my son during the time we waited. Tina and the entire staff were amazing. They listen, they care, and they do it all with a wonderful attitude which is hard to find these days.
I scheduled an appointment and was seen before my appt time. Michelle was awesome! Thorough, has an awesome bedside manner and answered all my questions. The only downside is I wish this was more of a walk-in clinic in the evenings when people get off work. I have been twice after 5 pm and was unable to walk in and be seen, which was originally the reason Urgent Care centers were started. So I had to make that dreaded trip to the ED and wait hours to only give up, 5 hrs later and walk out because I was never seen and felt to bad to sit there any longer. And I know Covid is the reason those online appts got started but could you please leave some room for walk-ins after 5 pm. Awesome idea in my opinion! Thanks for setting me on the path to recovery once again. Koodoos to the entire staff!
Called ahead of time to check if I needed an appointment for a pre-work drug test. The lady on the phone was very nice. When I went in the next day it didn't take anytime, but still had the time to be kind. Thank you Leslie
Most drug testing is done in under 20 min I waited over a hr.
Through and efficient
Michelle Gillian is the best, takes time to go over everything and care for her patients.
Everyone was nice however the receptionist said there was a 5 hour wait when I called before I went. No one was in the parking lot or lobby when we got there. We waited only ten minutes. And as I was in the waiting room I again heard the receptionist on another call telling someone there was a 2 hour wait and they closed in 2 hours with no one in the waiting room or in the parking lot. Both were empty……………….. So I would maybe check up on the receptionist from time to time for misinforming the public. However the doctor did a wonderful job and nurses. Thank you
Filthy and incompetent
I made an appointment because I knew I had strep for the second time in two weeks, and my primary care provider couldn’t see me and wouldn’t call in antibiotics (even though it’s a Friday and strep is super contagious without antibiotics). Everyone at Fast Pace was incredibly kind. They saw me quickly, confirmed that it’s strep, and even offered to send a swab away to try to get answers as to why I have it again. I am so grateful to them and really appreciate their kindness and care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
