I had a horrible experience with him. My blood pressure was through the roof and he said it was fine. I ended up with section as my placenta was detaching due to high blood pressure. I almost died!!!

I've been seeing him through 2 children, including csections. He is amazing! Ultrasound every visit, never makes me feel silly for asking outrageous questions or being a worry wart.

Think twice before stepping foot into this office. It was my first time going. First impressions it is very filthy. I was early for my appointment and waited an hour. When he finally came in the room he was very rude!! Jumped to conclusions and told me good luck at the end horrible experience take the extra time and drive to Lexington!!! I wasted my time and money and now have to see another gynecologist. I will note his staff is friendly.

Was referred to Ratliff by St. Joseph hospital to be checked for endometriosis and cancer, after I'd been to the ER with severe abdominal pain. I gave him a summary of what I'd been experiencing, and after I mentioned excessive hair growth, he made up his mind that it was poly-cystic ovarian syndrome, without even bothering to check for endomitriosis or cancer. He wrote me a prescription for 12 months of birth control and told me it would get my pain and abnormal bleeding under control with time. I suffered in excruciating pain for 4 months, before seeing another gynecologist, because I was led to believe I just needed to give the birth control time to work. The new gynecologist immediately scheduled me for surgery. I had pre-cancerous cells and had to have my cervix lasered, I had stage 3 endometriosis, a twisted ovary, they removed a uterine polyp, and an ovarian tumor, and also decompressed several very large cysts. The only credit I can give Dr. Ratliff is that I did actually have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome. But there's NO excuse for him not even bothering to check what I was referred to him for. The way I suffered was INHUMANE.

I arrived over 15 mins early and still the dr didn't see me until 55 mins later...and I was the first one there and the other 2 women followed behind me!!They didn't want my mother to be back there with me. He was rude when I was talking to him and he didn't want to listen to me. He was telling me what he thinks which is fine,but he didn't care to listen to me when i was telling him about my med history. He was insulting to me and my family.

I had 2 children under his care... I have had hystorectomy under his care..... everything was done personal and professinal..... He is the Greatest!

1st off this was my 1st time going to this dr n i only did b/c i didnt have enough gas to go to dr. chamberline, the staff was really nice to me.. but when it came to him telling me what was wrong with me he was not nice just blurted it out.. never gave any kind of bedside manner did not care about me at all.. just prescribed some medicine to me n left... never tried to talk about the issue about what all i need to do.. never once talked about the other medicines/cream that he could have prescribed that could ease the discomfort that i was having. I came home and had to look up everything. He never really tried. Last thing he said was that i could call back on monday for the results but that there aint no dought about what it was.. I just found my experience with him just was very crappy. For now on i'll just save up enough money to drive to winchester instead of going to this doctor.

He found out what was going on with me and he really cares about his patientsover the last five years that i have he been going to him he has really showed that he knows what he is doing and i would tell every body that know to go to himI like the office they are really nice and they act like that care Dr.Ratliff is a really good doctorYes i would tell everyone that i know to go to him cause he will find out what is wrong with you

this doctor has no respect for others at all!did not care about me or the baby just the $ in the worst pain ever i was over due took him an hour to get to the hospital and he doesn't live far away at all when i dilated to 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL VETERINARIAN
