List of Joyce Hughes's Reviews
Dr. Hughes has always been very nice and kind. She has treated my 11 year old for years and always has her health at the forefront at our visits. She has developed a very trusting rapport with our daughter & has helped her through many sicknesses. We have no complaints.
Dr Hughes is a freaking joke and a worthless doctor. License needs to be revoked!
My wife had our twins at Murray Calloway County Hospital where unfortunately Dr. Joyce Hughes was our pediatrician. My daughter weighed 3 lbs. 4 oz. and obviously needed more care than MCCH could provide for her but instead Dr. Hughes decided to feed her so much that her stomach got distended because she was too small for the feedings she had ordered. My son had RDS(respiratory distress syndrome), his lungs were not fully developed he needed surfactant to help his lungs expand but Dr. Hughes thought he would be just fine without it. Now me and my wife are currently at the NICU at Baptist Health thanks to another pediatrician at MCCH because Dr. Hughes rufused to send our children where they needed to be to get the care that they needed.

She has a terrible bedside manner and unless it's a basic cold or ear infection she's not much use.
My grandson has been sick for 4-5 months with the same thing never seems to get over it, coughing runny nose ,congestion never seems to get any better just doesn’t make any sense why she can’t get him any better after so many months
My son was below zero on the growth charts. He was so small I carried him until he was 4 yr old. I asked Dr Hughes if she thought it would be agood idea for me to take him to a specialist to have him evaluated. She said that it would be a waste of time because my husband and myself are both short. Well I decided to take him anyways and he was tested for growth hormones and it was discovered that he produced none. He has been taking GH for 8 yrs and he is of normal height, no thanks to Dr. Hughes
This place Is one be of the worst I've been too. I would not take a dead dog here..dr.s don't listen and run this place like a dam fast food restaurant. No wonder so many people have tried and are filling suit.
I have never met such a rude doctor in all my life..........and she works with children, no less! Our child will NOT be seeing her again!
I have never met such a rude doctor in my life. I took my 8 year old son in and she completely ignored him every time he talked to her. She was very rude with me as well. I would NEVER go back to her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
