I like how kind Dr. Villafuerte is, and that she really listens to the patient. I am so impressed with how she just doesn’t just treat symptoms. She actually looks for the underlying causes of symptoms and addresses the cause. I could not be happier with her.

One of the best doctors I have ever seen. She spent a full hour with me at my first appointment. Thoroughly reviewed my entire medical record, started making connections that none of my other providers have ever considered, and ordered tests straight away. I feel heard and valued. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

She’s not one that will just honestly tell you she doesn’t know what’s wrong with you, you’re guaranteed a diagnosis even if it’s just a guess. Fortunately, I found a doctor that actually did give me an accurate diagnosis. Better to go out of town for an honest diagnosis than to settle for a wild, off-the-wall guess-of-a-diagnosis.

Although I have had only a couple visits to this medical facility, I have found all persons to be most cordial and professional. The Certified Diabetes Educator was most helpful with diet and treatment questions. Persons at front desk, checkout and other parts of the office have been great! The Lab has been a very positive experience. Best “stick persons” I have been involved with. Dr. Villafuerte spends time with patients and addresses questions that I had. My husband had his first visit 7-7-20. We really enjoyed our visit. Dr. Betty's staff were very friendly and put us at ease. It was like we have been old friends. Dr. Betty spent almost 2 hours with us, her knowledge and humor were a welcome change from other physicians. We left feeling like we are in good hands. We are so glad and fortunate to have Dr. Villafuerte in Owensboro.

I have multiple health issues of unknown origin and it can be frustrating in navigating doctors and the healthcare system. Dr Villafuerte seems to really care and always takes her time with me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Villafuerte for at least 15 years. She is the most caring, thorough, compassionate Dr. that I have ever had! I can't tell you how sorry that I am to see her retire! You will be greatly missed Dr. Villa! Pat Bowman your teacher patient

I've been going to Dr. Betty since I was 17, I'm now almost 24. She was the first doctor that took the time to find out why I had uncontrollable weight gain my entire life. She took the time to dig deeper and do more tests than any other endocrinologist i had been to and was finally able to diagnose me with hashimoto's thyroiditis. Throughout the past almost 7 years she's helped me stabilize my thyroid levels, monitor my immune system, and help me on my journey with losing the excess weight I had gained, among many other things. I was declining at such a rapid rate when I started coming to her that I can honestly say this woman saved my life. And she never once judged me for being overweight. If I came in and it showed I gained weight we would talk about what happened and she would offer advice and solutions to combat it. When I came in and it showed I lost weight she would come in with a big smile and tell me I was doing fantastic. She's been nothing but an awesome, encouraging doctor.

I have been seeing her for almost 3 years now, I really dont think she knows what shes doing, she wont run any scans on me formy health issues and just keeps telling me the same thing, time for a second opinion.

I am a registered nurse and I LOVE Dr. Vilafuerte. She takes time and listens to what is going on. She is thorough in her assessment. She not only has cared for my insulin resistance and multiple other autoimmune issues, but she has taken the time to figure out what was going on when other doctors did not. I highly recommend her!
